I have three disabled extensions that came with another software. "Adobe Contribute Toolbar", "HP Smart Web Printing" and "Java Console". I didn't have the option not to install them at installation. And even if they are disabled and do nothing, is there a way to permanently delete them? I'm on Windows 7. I didn't find anything on the profile folder.

in about:config, set plugin.expose_full_path to true, then go to about:plugins

That should show you the paths that plugins are installed in.

Remember to put plugin.expose_full_path back to false after you're finished, otherwise you can expose details about your plugins' folders to websites or something.

Most extensions are installed under AppData, but these may be in Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\extensions. Don't just start deleting things as one of these folders contains the default theme. Under each folder, open install.rdf in Notepad and see which extension that folder is for.

Ok, "Java Console" is gone. Still couldn't find the other two. Which sub-folder in AppData? I looked all Mozilla folders, but they are not there. Do you mean the folder AppData?

AppData\Roaming\Mozilla. Extensions here should be uninstallable though.

Also search your registry for "MozillaPlugins". There's two folders on x64 systems, so if you're running 64-bit windows, be sure to check both.

So, I deleted the registry entry for the HP Smart Web Printing and it is still there. Extensions folder on AppData\Roaming\Mozilla is empty. I wonder if they are located somewhere else? Also, it is 64 bits!

Wrong extensions folder. They're located in:

AppData\Roaming\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles\RANDOMCHARACTERS.default\extensions

If that doesn't help, just search your entire PC for *.xpi.

I did it. But with other ways. You see, Smart Printing was a software. I had to uninstall it. In the Adobe case, I had to go to the Contribute folder on Program Files (x86) and delete the "plugins" folder there. it didn't show on the about:plugins page.

Anyway, thanks for the help!

It can be "hidden" in ProgramData folder, on Your system partition. If You want get rid some unwanted extension from Your addon manager navigate to Your profile in %appdata% -> open profile-> locate config file called "extension" and delete from there directory to unwanted extension. But for every case make backup of this file before edit.
