antivirs software on mobile / tablet

Do you use an antivirus program on your phone it tablet? I've heard that at the moment they're pretty useless and slow down the performance...

I dont use any antivirus but i use avast for the firewall blocks. I have disabled the scanner so it wont run in the background and wont slow up my phone.

Avast has the highest detection rate when tested by av comparative with over 90% detection rate and its absolutely free
