My Parents bought me a new Camry!

Recommended Posts

just remember... no hard reving and don't stress any of the engine parts for the first 1500 miles otherwise that warranty becomes nothing. it is even said in the warranty that if the engine is put under severe stress the first 1500 miles the warranty is voided. Gotta love that small text.

You lucky though. I had to get a job for my car, but in retrospect I like what they did... I have good credit now heh

Holy **** a Camry. Those things are a dime a dozen. When you get a Jag or BMW let me know.

Actually buddy if you come to think of it the car was like 26k and if we put or If I wanted I could have put in or told dad and we could have gotten the IS 300 fror me but the reason I got this was because I dont want somethingn tempting that will make me wanna race! And by the way you criticizing like you started driiving a beamer. What did you drive when you were 16?

Yvo Hrrm I thnk thats a bit late man. LOL I almost put about 1800 miles on it :) (Drive ALOT!) and hrrm i have hit speeds of 130! Yah I Know everyone told me after I did that!@

spoiled rich kids, that is whats wrong with america these days parents buy their kids cars and send them to nice colleges and they learn not to know how to work for the ol' mighty dollar. get a job rich kid learn to buy ur own stuff instead of leeching off mommy and daddy

Eye_Crust: Actually my parents do make me do stuff that a normal kid does. They will make me get a job soon. I tried to get one over this summer but my dad is like your childhood only comes once enjoy it bceause after this all you will be doing is working. They also want me to concentrate on my studies because work will distract me a bit.

I know how life is, I am not those kind of people who put other peopel down who are not as fortunate as me. Hell If you were driving a 55 camaro (dont think they had one then) i wouldnt care as long as you were a nice person from the inside.

nothing bad against u its just, a kid ur age doesnt deserve a 24 thousand dollar car for a first or second car.. u need some little car to start out with like 4 thousand dollars .. cause if u get in a wreck in a new car ur screwed in damages if its ur fault cause insurence will be like hmmmm ok why arent paying for u drunk and hitting a tree etc. :)

my parents told me that i can only get a new car if i get a scholarship to college...so thatll be in about 2 years(hopefully i can get a scholarship!...im only sophomore)...and they said i can pick which car i want...as long it is not really xpensive(like mercedes, beemer,,etc)

so study is big part of life for me now...(and im hopinh to get a job next year) ..since im turning 15 next week(young eh?) lol

eye_crust is right about that...my parents are gonna start me off with like an old rav4/jeep or something...so if i get into a crash...its not that big of a deal

Hrrm well guys if you guys think I am spoilt well my dad allrady had a plan for me in place..IF I **** up my grades car gets taken away but if there like average B's then I get to drive the old 1997 Camry (Orignally was supposed to get that) but if its low b's and ouch a c then car gets taken away then I take the bus!

Well my dad got full insurance on the car but I am actuallly not a bad driver. After all I been driving since I was hrrm 8! lol yah i know...

you never know...it doesnt really matter how good someone drives...its how good OTHERS drive..just warning of caution

you never know...it doesnt really matter how good someone drives...its how good OTHERS drive..just warning of caution

That is true Sadat...hey but everyday when you wake up or do something thats also taking a risk. So that does not mean just forget everytrhing and lay downf or the rest of your life. Hey using your computer is a risk! Playing with the Mouse is a risk! Everything is a risk its just the way how you tackle them!

ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh the mouse bit me!@$~# :(

not trying to be sarcastic. I am being serious. If you use the mouse to much and its not the right kind of really low quality your hand can hurt or sprain. This may sound funny and stupaid but it happened to a friend a while back!

Congrats mate! :)

i actually owned a m3 and a IS300...both very good cars... both totaled... :| like sadatkarim said... its not how good you are... its how good the other person is... just watch out... :|

i actually loved my IS300... it was a 16th birthday present... (well not really... since i had to pay for the car and insurance and gas... but they got the car for me.. lol) :| and the m3 was my mom's car... not mine...

Hrrm thats the worst part! When you mess up your mom's car. I did that a while back. Didnt quite total it but costed about 600 to fix. I banged into a pole. She freaked and dad was ****ed! hehe

Yah but i am or prob will in december get a is300 or the maxima. I dont know, just dont want the camry anymore! the only thing ill miss is the screens but I can get those in the new car too!

Well my dad got full insurance on the car but I am actuallly not a bad driver. After all I been driving since I was hrrm 8! lol yah i know...

You don't have to be a good driver, just an unlucky one.

I was driving home one night and some SUV tried to perform a U-turn on a 6 lane road in the outer most lane. I was driving on the innermost lane and got tboned.

Now you would think she would get the blame. Well because of my age it took a long while before the cop finally started believing me. I only drive a 12 grand vehicle and paid $85 (I'm 18) a month insurance but my insurance still went up even though it wasn't my fault.

Here is my car in the shop, still being worked on.

lol python134r

why do u like the screens on the back of the headrest if u cant even see them while youre driving? that would be a nice feature for like familys etc...cuz of the kids...but since youre like a teen...i would rather spend the money on the engine, mods, etc

    • So for the last few days, and excuse me if I'm not posting in the correct place... anyway, for the last few days I have been getting constant login approval requests from Microsoft Authenticator. I thought maybe someone was trying to get in so I changed my password and backup info... it did stop for a bit after, but now, it's back. I've had maybe 10 today alone. I check the history and there is nothing there.... under my recent activity it just lists my login to view the page, and my last login attempt which I signed into Outlook on my phone on June 18. What is going on? It's asking me to 'type in the code' that's displayed on my screen. I'm not doing it! Anyone else? Anything I should dig deeper into?
