Like to Post Ratio - What's your score?

Recommended Posts

I just thought this would be a good way to analyze your contributions to Neowin.

Do you post intelligent banter, funny things or just waffle ;)

Here is a simple calc:

Divide total likes with total amount of posts and times that number by 100 to get your score. Higher the better (e.g. the more content is liked per post).

E.g. mine is 29 / 734 X 100 = a score of 3.95! Guess I'm a waffler ;)

Who is highest??? (pray it's not WarWagon!)

The system has changed from one of the prev. versions of IPB. However some has carried over. This includes neg reps as well, as this forum used to have that....

I've been here since 2004. Most of my post (about 80% of them) were made before people could like posts.

So if we take 20% of my post count (2,937) and do the calculation: 737 / 2,937 * 100 = 25.09

I know this is about accurate too because Phouchg has 2,291 posts and his profile says he posts 5.74 posts per day. I have 14,684 but with 5.25 posts per day. So I'd say the amount of posts I have selected (20% or 2,937 posts) would be accurate for the amount of time the Like system has been around. I know that I have one of the highest like scores on the site. Higher than Rappy or Neobond even.

I don't think it really means that much. But it is nice to know that my contributions to the forum have been worthwhile for other users and not a waste of anyone's time reading them or me writing them. :)

    • IBM are good at announcing stuff, but not at actually delivering it... How many decades ago did they announce quantum computers, and here we are in 2026, with CHINA delivering them, and IBM still talking...
    • It sounds like you’re trying to rewrite a narrative to align this layoff with your political beliefs. Games can be horrible, whatever backwards notions you have don’t change that bungie has problems, mostly with just bad games, and arrogance. When they pushed Microsoft to let them be independent they lost their way. They hired on a bunch of people and they couldn’t justify the employee count consistent with their revenue.
