Jeffrey DeMunn and Andrew Rothenberg have joined the TNT drama pilot, reuniting with their former showrunner.

TNT's L.A. Noir is adding up its Walking Dead alums.

The drama pilot from ousted Walking Dead showrunner Frank Darabont has added Jeffrey DeMunn and Andrew Rothenberg to its cast, The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed.

Based on John Buntin?s book L.A. Noir: The Struggle for the Soul of America?s Most Seductive City, a true story of a decades-long conflict between the LAPD and the city?s criminals, the project was picked up to pilot this year.

Former Walking Dead star Jon Bernthal -- whose lead character Shane was axed in the penultimate episode -- will star as Joe Teague, the LAPD cop at the heart of the series that revolves around the police force's pursuit of mobster Mickey Cohen.

As first reported by TVGuide.com, DeMunn -- whose Walking Dead character Dale was savagely attacked by a walker and perished in second season of the AMC drama -- will play Hal Morrison, the detective at the head of the LAPD's mob squad.

Rothenberg -- who played Atlanta survivor Jim in the freshman season of the drama based on the comics by Robert Kirkman -- will guest star as Eddy Sanderson, a member of Hal's team.

The Walking Dead pair join former Heroes star Milo Ventimiglia, who will play a former Marine who served with Bernthal?s character during WWII and is now a budding lawyer groomed to be a master "fixer" for the mob.

A decision on the status of the pilot is expected to come this month during Turner's upfront presentation to advertisers in New York.

    • I'm still rocking iOS 25.x on my primary phone cuz iOS 26 still has usability quirks (mostly aesthetic and thus its UX) which I don't wanna deal with -- and I've been piloting them with all of these updates on my backup phone, so I'm well aware of its "improvements" since iOS 26 was first released (compared to version 26.5.x).
