Please HELP! My Youtube Account has been Hacked!

Question

Hello everyone. I have a Youtube account and recently I noticed that somebody hacked into it and ruined my "subscription ajax". I am desperate to fix this problem and I need your help. People are able to subscribe to me, but when I try to subscribe back to them, the Javascript says "disabled" and it will not allow me to subscribe. I was looking around online and found this website about how to hack accounts with a Javascript code and I think that this is what has been done to my account :

Does anyone know how to undo or fix this problem? There is no solution that I found online and I am hoping that you guys might have a Javascript code to fix this. Thanks in advance!! :)

I don't think I need to remind anyone not to click that - reported.

What are you talking about? I am just coming here for help. I cannot believe that you would report it when I am just trying to show people what has been done to my account. All I am looking for is some help to fix this. Thanks anyway.

Hi again!! Thanks so much!! It is great to be here and I hope to find the help that I need. I just made another post in the General Discussions, but I took the link information out of there so that it will not upset people and give them the wrong impression. I am just trying to get this fixed and I wanted to give people the appropriate information to so that they can know all the details. Thanks again!! :)

Yeah, double posting is not allowed on Neowin. I closed the thread and placed a link to this discussion. Please keep that in mind.

Thanks.

I checked the javascript code you posted. Doubt that's your problem, as that javascript, while being highly questionable as to it's possible effectiveness (Really...? Doesn't youtube check your login infos before you try to spoof people unsubscribing!?), this doesn't seem to be your problem.

If they can subscribe to you and you can't, giving an error about javascript, I can see one of two things:

1- You either really have javascript disabled in your browser

2- You use some kind of javascript blocker addon such as that Firefox addon I just can't remember off the top of my head

Hi!! Thank you very much for taking the time to help me. I appreciate you checking out that code and giving me your feedback on what the issue could be. I will look on my browser to see if my Javascript is disabled and I will check to see if I have some kind of Javascript blocker. Thanks so much again for your help. Have a great day!! :)

Could just be a hiccup. Have you notified Youtube about it?

Hi!! Thanks for your response. Yes, I did try to notify Youtube about it, but they only have the "Report a Bug" feature and I sent multiple messages about the issue with no response. I have heard that they are not good with customer service.

@Marshall - Rebooting and Resetting are two very different things, the latter would lead to a complete flush/reset of his router, which means he'd lose his network settings, etc. It would be restored to the condition it came in. I'd stick to a simple reboot.

@OP - Have you tried asking someone else to log in from your ID from another computer to see if it works? To me the problems seem to be with your computer and not your account. I'd do that if I were you, so atleast you can narrow down on the problem.
