Hi guys :D

I'm just putting this quick introductory post here. Felt like it was obligitory as I recently applied for the advertised positions on NeoGamr as News Writer. Occasionally skim through the site and my friend Chase is a moderator on the forums. I'm based in the U.K. studying Magazine Journalism at university hoping to write as a professional PC Games journalist. Feel free to ask me anything and get to know me!

Cheers

Welcome to Neowin. Or NeoGamr. Whichever you prefer. :)

For article writing, maybe post up some reviews in the Gamers Hangout section, or wherever the article would be more appropriate. You'll get feedback from the rest of the community, and with enough good feedback maybe the moderators will put you forward for a permanent (well, as permanent as volunteer work is) writing position.

Ohai NintendoNinja. Welcome to Neo{-win, gamr}. Enjoy your stay.

Maybe you'll be able to get Neowin to have an official Minecraft server.

Thanks very much! I used to browse the sites quite often. I have friends that read the site's content quite often but I don't have time for reading lots of articles usually. Still it's good to recieve a warm welcome.

I already sent the moderators some links to things i've wrote and produced but thanks anyway :)

    • BS, I've yet to run into a typical pc user that uses it at all, let alone half the population.

    • The site is pretty sparse on features / tech specs. Can I plug it into a PC/hone/Switch via USB-C and use it as an external display? If so, what's the virtual resolution of the screen, the refresh rate, PPI of the image etc? Is the text crisp enough to use for coding at say 12pt? Is it good enough for playing dark games, like say Path of Exile 2? How about fast games like car racing games? Just how do they expect anyone to order this thing without giving out all this info?
