fgsdfwerwer
Hey guys I have a small form factor pc, with an Intel I5 processor which has the HD 3000 graphics built in. Basically I want something better for graphics (looking forward to Diablo 3) Something I can switch the graphics up on games a bit, also some older Valve games eg Half Life 2, hate the intel integrated graphics and crashes :( I don't have hundreds but if anyone could recommend something that's small form factor or has any useful information that would be great Thanks Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1075957-small-form-factor-graphics-card/ Share on other sites
Daedroth
You can get SFF cards for ?20, but I really don't know how they perform. I think we ordered Nvidia G210 cards. We've just ordered some in work, so we can use multiple monitors. fgsdfwerwer
I think my integrated graphics is about the equivalent of a 30-50 pound card, I'm looking for something that will be good upgrade. Depends how much you want to spend and if you are going to be playing any more games than D3. Astra.Xtreme
You're a little limited by the small form factor cards, but this one is a cheap and will probably get the job done: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814133356 Otherwise, if you have some room to work with, this will definitely be your best option in the $100ish price range: http://www.newegg.co...N82E16814130649 Edit: obviously you'll have to find a place that ships to the UK. fgsdfwerwer
I probably will be playing more games in the future yes. I think low profile is the term I was looking for, thanks techbleck. The second card looks good Astra.Xtreme but wont fit in! Astra.Xtreme
Apparently this is a pretty fast low profile card: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814102958 Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1075957-small-form-factor-graphics-card/#findComment-594853753 Share on other sites
Manarift
Would help to know the brand of case and model ;) that way it be easier to tell if a card can fit or not Link to comment https://www.neowin.net/forum/topic/1075957-small-form-factor-graphics-card/#findComment-594853799 Share on other sites
