Nice profile picture.

1. De authorize account on PC

2. Go to his My Music folder. There is an iTunes folder. Copy over "iTunes Media" and all his other non iTunes stuff.

3. On the Mac Go to My Music. There is a folder in there called "iTunes Media". Replace the one you copied with it.

4. Login, authorize iTunes on Mac

5. File => Add to Library And select the Music Folder.

6. It will pop up a dialogue saying it's scanning through files

7. Double check everything

8. Enjoy

9. Thank Me

I will give it a go

Just copy the my music folder on the PC and paste it into the Music folder on the Mac, that way it will keep playlists that he created.

If you add to library it won't keep the playlists

This is the easiest way to do it.

  1. Go to iTunes
  2. Click on Preferences and change the location under iTunes Music to your external hard disk
  3. Check the box beside Copy Files to iTunes Music when adding to Library
  4. Click on File and choose Organize Library. Check the box beside Consolidate Files
  5. Click Consolidate
  6. Click Import on iTunes when you connect your external hard disk to a new computer by selecting the folder on the hard disk

Hope this helps.
