Microsoft Word 2007 Help

Hi everyone. I consider myself fairly competent with Word, but am having a problem that is just driving me nuts and I can't find a solution online so I figured I would ask here. I have a header and footer but do not need a header on the second page. There appears to be no way to delete this header? I have it set to be unique for the first page and not be linked to in the second page. I even set a page break between page 1 and 2 so that I could edit them both individually (The headers). However, the "Remove Header" button appears to do nothing? Additionally, it has now created a 3rd page, which has no content but a header and footer which I also cannot get rid of. It's really getting on my nerves at this point as I really shouldn't have to fight with it to do this. I set the header and footers that I did not need to a height of 0, but that as I'm sure others know, doesn't mean 0... Naturally. lol

So, I figured I would post here and ask anyone if they had any ideas or suggestions to resolve this.

Thanks. You're referring to between the pages? I did use a New Page Section Break, which is allowing me to edit the headers and footers independently (Once I remove the link), but I can't delete them or set them to not visible... I've set them to a height of 0, but that doesn't hide them completely, they still leave a space for the header and footer. :-\

you're right. i misread the post.

i think i've emulated your document but i too get a tiny space at the top and bottom that i cannot remove.

i'm wondering if this might be due to the margins on the printer.

The unique header on first page setting allows you to have a different header on subsequent pages,

You could always remove the headers completely and put a header in the document instead on the first page...
