Does this PC have a slot to upgrade GFX?

Recommended Posts

Not the PC is not near me at the moment, otherwise I'd do all this on my own.

These are the specs, it has a 7300 in it and it says "no integrated video solution"; does that mean the 7300 in there is stuck in there or I can pull it out and put in the 7800GT we found so my friend can play Diablo 3?

edit: both cards are PCIe x16, I just didn't know if for some reason the 7300 was stuck in there are not somehow connected on board or incapable of being removed.

No integrated video solution just means it has no onboard graphics.

From the pics on google it looks like it has an x16 slot, so you should be good to go to put 7800GT in.

Thank you! We're getting really excited if this works, an old PC of mine and a friends old card for a different friends Diablo 3 experience haa

Yep just make sure you check the PS requirements of the video card, that system has a 300 watt.

What happens if the card requires 350/400 watts and the PC is 300 watts? Just not turn on or...easily overheat...anything we can fix with some software or a lot of fans? Also, if we were to *have* to upgrade the power supply, what would I have to know or look for as far as the case and power supply size or are they all a standard size?

If the PSU isnt supplying enough power the PC probably wont turn on at all.

I think you should be fine with 300W. Power supply 'requirements' are just an estimate to give a big margin for error so people cant moan and say "it says 300W on the box why wont it work"

I purposely overloaded a Trust 570w PSU, heavy gaming with 2 x 6850s and it would run for a while, stink the place out of burning electronics, then shut off.

Never killed the PSU though, did it a load of times so credit to Trust, the PSU is powering another machine atm

Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody from watching your Internet connection and learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked. The Tor Browser Bundle lets you use Tor on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux without needing to install any software. • Yes, it was amusing at the time because even then dbrand was well known for stealing the designs of products from other companies. That’s what they do.
