According to Abby Chandler of Badhaven, Marvel's Joe Quesada stated that a script for Ms. Marvel is complete and that the film will be looking for a leading lady. As reported---

A script for a Ms/Captain Marvel movie is ready to go. They just needed an actress. Marvel are having a meeting in a couple of weeks and will be ready to announce some films then ? He said we?d be pleasantly surprised.

This news definitely puts the reinvention of Carol Danvers by Kelly Sue DeConnick in a whole new light. Is the current comic design an indication of what we may see on the big screen some day?

I liked her character as Binary and Warbird more than Ms. Marvel. Exploiting white holes and being able to move at the speed of light, use stellar energy and all that was awesome back in the 90's (I think that's when she was Binary...) but I doubt they'd even mention that stuff, let alone do it in an origin movie/Marvel Universe movie.

Also, I think it's pretty obvious she's going to either be in Avengers 2 (she was a big Avengers stalwart for awhile after all) or any kind of X-Men movie they do (if they ever do another one). Of course, if she's in Avengers 2, that would be a nice segue into Warbird (since that is who she was at the time). I wonder if and when they will mention the Kree though, since she is partially Kree and this makes her immune to like...everything under the Sun.

Wait, Rogue got her powers from Ms. Marvel. Maybe they could change it up a little and have a sexy scene where Rogue gets carried away with a little girl on girl action and absorbs the powers. But it would be cool to see spiderwoman save Ms.Marvel....

    • No. The file manager is a lost cause. After all, its dev receives all the undeserved praise he could evre wish from Neowin, without having actually earned it. This has never lead to improvements.

    • I know I won't ever be using it to make my game. I'd rather pay humans.
    • Nah. For every indie dev that needs to create code for "stuff" or textures, it's a godsend enabler to possibly tackle a project that you may not otherwise. The end result and testing will tell the truth if everything works or doesn't, or a game is just mediocre slop, but now these tools are now there and it's the developer's duty to judge the outcome, and even more so for pro studios. And you gotta remember that they will be at an early stage.
    • whoosh my comment went over your head. Enjoy your notchless 3:2 OLED device
