iPhone 4 help cant delete contacts

Well i am on ios 5.1.1un jail-broken. I have no idea how to delete contacts. There is no edit button for me located at the top right of my screen or anything. What do I do? I called apple but my warranty ran out last month and im not paying 30$ to take care of this -_-

Go to the contact, choose edit, scroll down, at the bottom is a delete option.

you have to open the contact you want to delete then the edit button appears

You won't have an edit button at that point. You have to actually go into a contact then you have Edit at the top-right.

Look if 'Restrictions' is on (Settings > General > Restriction) and turn it off.

'Restrictions' prevents you from adding, removing or modifying accounts in Mail, Contacts & Calendars.

that's a tweak you can add through cydia, it looks like his iphone isn't currently jailbroken

Go to Settings > iCloud > Contacts. Toggle it on/off depending on what it is now. See if that works. If it does, you should be able to change the contacts setting back.
