Finally i have decided my build. I will go with AMD A6-3500,

CPU - AMD FM1 Llano A6 3500 2.1GHz 3 cores with AMD HD 6530D graphics - ?56.44

RAM - Corsair 8GB (2x4GB) DDR3 1333MHz Memory Kit CL9 1.5V - ?32.88

Motherboard - ASUS F1A75-M AMD Hudson D3 (Socket FM1) DDR3 PCI-Express Micro-ATX Motherboard ?59.99

Case - http://www.aria.co.u...productId=42988 ?26.39

Power Supply - AAntec 450W PSU - 120mm Fan VP450 4x SATA 1x PCI-E ?37.68

Screen: Philips 196V3LSB LED LCD 18.5" DVI Monitor - http://www.ebuyer.co...k-5ms-196v3lsb7

Hard Drive - Seagate 500GB http://www.ebuyer.co...ache-st500dm002 - ?52.98

DVD Drive - Sony DVD RW - ?12.75

I am also buying a card reader: http://www.ebuyer.co...rdreader-int-23

1. Is that a good build? Is it all going to be compatible?

2. Can there be a bit cheaper motherboard? which is good ASUS/Asrock or MSI?

3. How can i connect card reader on the mother board? will there be a place or slot and will PSU provide cables for it?

Guys please answer these questions, i am really done with the build. If you can reply about this, it will be superb! Thanks alot!

Special greets to danster and open minded!

No problem! Hope the build goes ok. If you get stuck, feel free to PM me or post it on here!

1. I don't see any issues with compatibility. Yes, it is a good build for an HTPC.

2. I'd pick ASUS/Asrock over MSI. I've had a lot of problems with MSI motherboards and a video card. I'm done with that company.

3. An internal SD/mem card reader will connect to the USB socket on the motherboard. They usually don't need external power as the USB socket has enough juice. It will go into the 3.5 inch slot like where the 1.44 floppy drives went.

This, pretty much same answers I would have given.

@Neoadorable he's purchasing from the UK so he wouldn't be able to order all that stuff ;)

Thanks for the reply guys, I have got 2 more questions some sort of related.

1. I want to have an extra rear fan. Which can you suggest will be appropriate size and budget wise?

2. I have buying Philips LED screen as mentioned earlier in the post, which DVI to DVI cable will i need to connect to get highest resolution crispness? (I know VGA will suffice) but can you put link for right DVI cable that i can buy?

Thanks for your support and help :)

1. The Cool master case comes with a 120mm front fan. According to this the case only supports an 80/90mm fan. I'd suggest something like a Noctua fan. It's a bit expensive but they make some of the best fans around.

2. DVI is digital. Don't buy into the whole crap about the quality of the cable etc. It's just like HDMI, a 99p cable will work just the same as a Monster HDMI which can be priced at ?70+... This DVI-D cable will work fine for your needs.

Thanks Danster, for all of your replies and support. I am nearly done with selection, gonna buy it tomorrow. I have got one simple question, assembly? How can i get everything perfectly placed, up and running. This is my first ever build so any suggestions or tutorial links appropriate will be much appreciated.

Thanks once again!

    • This 4K webcam from Acer is now only $59.99 by Taras Buria Those looking for an affordable, high-resolution webcam from a reputable manufacturer can check out the latest deal from Acer, which puts its 4K webcam at a solid price. Thanks to a 14% discount, you can buy this all-metal 4K webcam from Acer for just $59.99. Despite the affordable price tag, the webcam has a pretty large 1/2" CMOS sensor manufactured by Sony. Apart from its size, it supports additional conveniences, such as high dynamic range and phase-detection autofocus (PDAF). Plus, the camera ensures you do not have to buy additional audio equipment, as it comes with two built-in high-sensitivity microphones, a built-in background noise filter, and the ability to pick up your voice from up to 2.5 meters away. Acer is not cheaping out on materials, and the webcam is enclosed in a more premium metal case, which is also good at heat dissipation (high-resolution cameras can get quite hot). And to make sure no one is peeping at you when the camera is in use, there is a magnetic cover also made of metal. Additional conveniences include an LED status indicator and a built-in mount that lets you place a camera on a tripod.
