Some advice on a design

Hey there.

I'll try to make it sound as simple as I can. I would ask someone to do it for me but at the moment I'm short on cash so I need to cope on my own somehow.

I got a logo for my gaming site (http://estgaming.com/wallpapers/1440x900.jpg) and I'd like to make the bull snort (?) smoke so I can make it into an easy intro page with redirect to our forum. Now my question is, is it hard to do and what would I need for it?

Also. I would advise against a splash page.

Loads of reasons.

Not good for Seo, people dont want to wait, they want to go straight to your site etc.

What were you planning. That image showing up and then having it redirect to the forum? Its an unnecessary wait.

I'm not really after SEO anyway since most people (at least what my stats page says) go to the forum straight anyway.

I really don't have anything better to put on the front page at the moment, we had a custom built cms for it which I lost during switching my provider and can't reach the developer anymore so I was thinking why not take the logo make a little swf or gif out of it and put it there, just a 2-3second wait anyway :)
