We haven't seen too much of this game, and although I am hyped, I can't say I trust this game to be promising.

Here's an interesting Watch Dogs site http://digitalshadow.com/

"Look how much we know about your personal information once you put in your password for us please."

Really this is pretty silly. If this ad was trying to make a point it shouldn't need you to put in your password for it.

It's connecting to the public areas of your Facebook account in order to see what information is outward facing or "hackable."  You need to give it the same permissions as a friend would have.

It's obviously a website to promote a game so you don't need to take it too seriously.

Pretty much.  What are they gonna do, hack a corporate website and face criminal charges heh.

I still thought it was funny to see 'People you would sacrifice to save yourself.'  :D

You're right. Good point.

Anybody know when the reviews of this game are likely to start coming out? I know it's still a while away.

I have this game on pre-order and am still undecided about it.

Ubi have been relatively decent with review NDAs lately, so prob May 25 or so, as the launch is May 27.

Ah was hoping for sooner. Starting to lose interest in this game, may cancel my pre-order and wait for reviews before making a decision.

Think of it this way, you pre-ordered it for a reason and you were excited about it. Why deny yourself the joy of discovering for yourself if you like it or not? Only reason i would cancel right now would be because of money, if you feel you can't afford it then that's something else.

On a different note, have decided will avoid hurting cops if possible. Even though this isn't Chicago really, it still says CPD on the cars and they look like Chicago cops...no way i'm shooting my way through them. Though certain there will be missions where it's unavoidable...

For me it's more an issue of time. I can see myself buying the game and not playing it until a few months down the line. If that happens I may as well have bought it a few months later where the price would have been reduced and I may have also had a chance to try out a demo or borrow a copy to see if it's really a game for me.

I've only recently bought two games on release day, Titanfall and GTA V and I knew I was going to make the time to play them, GTA because of previous games and Titanfall because I tried the beta.

I'll make a decision closer to the time :P

I brought the Deluxe Edition last night through Origin in Russia for the total of ?17.00.  So even if the game turns out to be a dud I won't be to disappointed.

Game does look like it might be a lot of fun though, although I was kinda hoping the hacking might be more in-depth.  Perhaps along the lines of exposing a vulnerability and then deploying a Trojan to gain access, something a little more involved than what seems to be point and click.  Maybe even something like the hacking in the Batman Arkham games so at least there is some achievement to pulling off a hack.

In that case it might be worth waiting, if you feel your reasons for pre-ordering are no longer there. There's no rush, if you don't enjoy day one buying then don't do it - of course it will be on sale by the end of the year.

True to form, Ubi's Child of Light reviews came out a few hours ago, or like a day before actual release. So expect Watch Dogs reviews to be out on the 26th.

The drop-in MP is the first thing I'll be turning off when I start this game up.  :)

If it's anything like NFS Rivals then yes...that was horrible, getting your car EMP'd every two seconds by random strangers for no reason. If it's like the Souls games then it will be fine, though it sounds like the only purpose of the MP here is invasions, which are not fun. So yeah, hopefully there's a single player only mode.

i was going to preorder watch dogs until i noticed this in this videos :(. Looks like i have to wait to see if this feature can be disabled otherwise i wont be playing the game :(

I'm definitely going to be playing this on the PC, when I build one and get rid of the old one. So ready for the PERSON OF INTEREST GAME. Let's hope it has a good story, even though i probably won't mind about the story. Chicago, here I come.

Upon further inspection the options are supposed to let you set it to offline, so you're all good there - but wait for reviews to be sure. I think it should be like available in offline, no reason not to make it so.
