Firefox loses focus

I've been having an issue that has occured since the 14 beta versions where I lose window focus. It happens randomly when I click a link via website/bookmarks. It's really annoying because I'll be scrolling one second and then have to click to continue scrolling. Has anyone been experiencing this issue?

Can only suggest rolling back to 13 or 12.

Is this under Windows 7, mouse or touchpad ?

Edit: Tried Firefox 13 and issue persists. WTF.

Adobe Flash 11.3 is the reason... I think... trying once Adobe Flash 11.2 or 11.3 with protected mode off..

It's making me crazy. Suddenly all of my computers at home and work started "losing focus", and I knew it was either FF13 or Flash. So frustrating.

Yeah, turning protected mode off is a temporary fix until the issue is resolved. Details are at the bottom of the link.

Oh wait... I think you guys are describing a different issue. I'm talking about how scrolling impacts flash videos and other objects. It seems to duplicate, stretch, and flatten random things.

Example: this is what happened to a youtube video and a forum sig while scrolling down / up.

Happened to me too, dissapeared at least for now.

Hmm. it's consistent for me. Happens every time there's an embedded flash video. Tried switching to Chrome but I can't find alternates to my most used FF addons

FF15 got smooth scrolling from refresh drive, I don't know whether it was backported to FF14 or not. it remove delay of 16 ms in between scrolling, you should give Firefox 15 Aurora a try.

Firefox has completely lost it with Firefox 16. I am now back two builds using Beta 14B7 at least I do not Blue screen on every update. Today's Nightly busted all Tab extensions.How long has Mozilla been doing this??LOL

Just when I thought everything's cool thumbnails on YT suggestions (right side) stay black. I even downgraded Flash FFS.

I was using the nighly beta and colourful tabs would make it so Firefox would not even start. I suppose using a beta, this willl happen. after all it is a beta.

I gave up of Firefox some months ago. I used to love it :(

Too many unsolved, persistent bugs and Chrome's sync is great.

They should definetely quit updates with new features and focus on solving bugs, not creating more of them.

FF became a total mess. :s
