The xda is not just a PDA... the HTC Andes is running Windows Mobile Phone Edition 2003. Seriously, the thing rocks and I have yet to see any Windows Mobile PDA that comes close. Its true competitors right now are MS smartphones, Treo's and the Blackberry.... and not just non Phone Ed WM2003 devices

Looks very nice to me

But anyone know the res of the screen?

It's a 3.5" 240x320 64k colour back light LCD. The screen has been massively improved: both the xda I and II have 3.5 inch screens, the xda II screen is a TFT transflective screen at 65,536 colours which is a real improvement on the original's 4096 colour TFT reflective screen. Finally the xda gets a screen as good as those of the top line iPaqs, along with variable brightness control.

EDIT. Oh yeah... and I get mine on Saturday and the girlfriend gets a free xda 1 (my current one).

    • Dude get a clue, LTSC is Enterprise, not even legal for consumers, and ESU is not mainstream support cycle, just an extended security updates period.
    • Nvidia is your issue more so than linux itself. I did used it for a while with an old 1060 3gb, but using propietary drivers was kind of messy.
