IMHO,

When it comes to posting your artwork to the public, I believe that it is impossible to expect everyone to like your work. Sure, there are a lot of people that may like your work but you can't deny the fact that there will be SOME people giving you comments regarding how your work could have been.

As an artist, I think you can either take it or leave it. Simply disregard the "boo hoo" that you've described and focus on the comments that you think are valid.

It's not bitching, I believe. It is commenting, and that's what happens in a discussion board.

Sure, a discussion board is full of comments by various people. However, there are million different ways to comment. What these "boo hoo" kids fail to realize is that these themers put a lot of effort and time into creating a theme (although some themes can be very quick & simple to make) and the they are more than willing to share the theme w/ the rest of the world for FREE. Despite their personal opinions (both negative & positive), the receipients (the boo hoo kids) should recognize to wholeheartedly appreciate the themer's work. If you don't like a particular work and the themer disagrees w/ your opinion, just learn to change it on your own rather than repeatedly "bitch" at the themer to change it for you, or don't use the theme at all. Again, I know that comments are expected in a discussion board but the comments should be addressed in a manner that promotes a themer to think about or re-evaluate his theme rather than merely ****ing him off by saying "it sucks", for example. Let's say you're walking down the street and someone offers to give you a free t-shirt. You look at it and decides not to take it because of the design, color or whatever the reason. What do you say to the guy who's offering you a t-shirt? It would be more appropriate to say "Thank you for the offer but the color is too bright for my taste" than to say "It sucks. Go and make it darker and put a flower print on the sleeves". That would be rude.

What I meant was that the Start Menu looks better if one had the taskbar is at the top. Look at the image I have attached. Not as nice.

and?

It looks perfect, hush hush.

Nice Icons.

Who want want the Taskbar at the bottom anyway, with the Apple logo on the start button and all. :p

Great job with the theme, I loved it since I saw your screenshots and I'm so glad it's released now :) Any chance of releasing the media player skin you had on your desktop with the black version, along with your dock icons/bg. Or links to where I could snatch them from? :)

    • No, "a great deal" for 32GB of DDR5 is $50, not $350. I mean I see what you mean, that it's a decent price compared to what's currently available, but you really should put a disclaimer in this articles explaining that it's still multiple times more expensive than it used to be.
    • Linux 7.1 stable launch looms as Linus Torvalds releases the final release candidate by Paul Hill Linus Torvalds has just released what’s expected to be the final release candidate of Linux 7.1, rc7. The Linux founder said that this RC is not small, but smaller than recent releases, which is a good sign because he expects the stable version to drop next week if things continue on this trajectory. Linux kernels see a merge window for the first two weeks of their life, where developers add new features, then there are about seven or eight weeks of release candidates before the stable version. Typically, there are seven release candidates, but if more time is needed, then an eighth release candidate is released too. This week’s RC’s biggest area of fixes was for GPUs, with networking just behind. Torvalds said that the rest of the release was “pretty random and spread out” with some architecture fixes, driver fixes, filesystem improvements, and build fixes for more unusual configs. In terms of specific pieces of hardware receiving improvements in this update, we had more AMD Zen6 models supported and fixes for AMD SDMA 7.1 and GFX11. Hardware that got improvements includes Lenovo laptops, HONOR laptops, and MSI laptops. Here are the changelogs for those: ASoC: amd: acp: Add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Pro 7 15ASH11 Input: atkbd - add DMI quirk for Lenovo Yoga Air 14 (83QK) Input: atkbd - skip deactivate for HONOR BCC-N's internal keyboard ASoC: amd: yc: Add MSI Raider A18 HX A9WJG to quirk table ASoC: amd: yc: Enable internal mic on MSI Bravo 17 C7VF When the stable Linux 7.1 is released, it will be up to distribution maintainers, such as Canonical and Red Hat, to release the update to their users via the update manager. Some versions of Linux will get it before others, and some will never get it at all. Fedora and Arch-based distros will be among the first to get it, though. If you don’t get it, the security fixes will be backported to your system’s kernel, so you won’t be at risk, but you won’t get newer hardware support, which is fine if your computer works now.
