well lets say the ads are the reason MS gives the software free. but well maybe i am wrong.

Opera is a free released to public program but if I customise it to not show ads, does not that count as cracking?

For all who seems to think this is warez; How do you warez a free, released-to-the-public program? :blink: It's a patch meant to customise, not steal a program.

a patch to remove ads (which are a source of revenue) is a crack.
