Developing for the iPhone 5 and iPhone 4 in one App

Is it possible to make an iOS app that detects the screen size and re-sizes it's self to accommodation the iPhone 4' small screen and the iPhone 5's new larger screen?

I believe that's within the iOS SDK, so you might not have to worry. Check out the Apple's Developer site.

I don't know the SDK, I am just remote managing some developers who are not exactly 100% competent and I want to make sure the information they are giving me is not inaccurate.
