Longhorn PDC - Slate

nice theme like all themes from WindowsX :) but still it seems to have some bugs se screen attached. also what i dont like is the explorer sidebar on top its to buggy everytime ill select an item the size of that top bar changes. not nice... hope for some fixes

not meant to be picky but can i disable this whole bar thing and can i disable the sidebar too...it doesnt make my desktop looks nice..not a person that likes sidebar. thanks. overall the theme is damn good...

i didnt enable it. when i apply the theme it just came with it. i don't want the sidebar. think it looks ugly. and about my previous question, don't ask me to use slate xp because its not as nice as slate pdc. the titlebar difference... thanks.

Only way to enable sidebar is if you download a program that "acts" like it. The sidebar is only in the real Longhorn. This is a VS, not an entire operating system.

bug? for the second image. it may not be an error. the menua bar's color and the title bar's color are the same in ie and explorer but not in other applications. i was wondering if windows x could make it all the same...

erm...i dont have a sidebar program. the sidebar only appear after i apply this theme...

Good job Windows X! Love the Mistic one. For those of you complaining about the sidebar, just copy over the shell style from the Slate XP over to the Slate PDC folder and it should look just like normal.

I never post much on Neowin, in fact I last posted ages ago,. But I have the Longhorn 4051 build just like a few others on here, and seeing this release ... I can only say I am stunned and amazed at what you have accomplished in getting this PDC skin looking as it should. ! Excellent Job Windows X I am totally impressed. When will the Transformation pack be available to download. (I have hosting available if you need mirrors for it) ;)

K Cool No Problem ! - as for how to change the Explorer Toolbar Icons - the easiest method is to use YZ Toolbar :) It also has the ability to let you change the Windows Flag Animated Icon too. With out the need for any hacking of DLL's etc. So no possibility of causing corruption to the System.

:huh: ok it must just be me because i open the Slate 1.0 and i dont get any of those options that where in a previous post,(like choose the logon or the side bar) i just get an msstlye. and mine doesnt have the little side bar thing at the top of the menu? whats going on

But im still looking for the Logon and of course for the hot Wallpapers from LH 4051.

Illussion has a Hot one Posted on Site 14 I think. But the Link for the DL is Dead.

Please gimme someone a Link for this Wallpapers !!
