I know that the Start button is what most people dislike most about this theme...I saw the LH64 screenshots...well, see for yourself, they have a different start button:

Yay!

Edit: I just downloaded and it's just 1.0. What the heck? :p I think you packaged the wrong version in the installer.

Downloaded version 3.0 here...clean your browser cache.

@ BMac and SidVicious: The installer says 3.0 but it is the same 1.0 files. That is why BMac's close button is still red.

The first sign is the file dates on the .msstyle files date back to November 30th. Second, the changes in 2.0 are all gone (I extracted 2.0 from the transformation pack). Third, the changes in the 3.0 screenshot (like Franklin Gothic Medium 8pt on the taskbar) aren't there.

Help!

Does anyone have version 1.0 they can send me?

The 3.0 version has a smaller font on the taskbar and start menu which is too small for my taste. Better yet, if somone can tell me how to edit this VS to make the font the size of 1.0 that would be great.

If someone has 1.0 to send me, I would be very appreciative. Email is: [email protected]

Thanks!

BMAC:

Can you resend the file to me? MSN will not allow .exe files to be emailed. If you rename it to .bak it will make it.

One other question, does anyone know how to edit 3.0 to fix the taskbar and start menu font sizes? Is this a mistake? I don't see this in any of WindowsX other creations. Someone else asked this on themexp.

Thanks again for all your help.

I don't post much to neowin, but when I do I always get great help.

Nick

    • Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 PC case is now 33% off on Amazon by Ivan Jenic The Cooler Master MasterFrame 600 is currently $109.99 on Amazon, down from its original $164.99 list price. That's 33% off and $55 saved on this premium aluminum mid-tower case with a modular design. If you're upgrading your PC case and want something that doesn't force you into a rigid layout, the MasterFrame 600 is worth a look. The case is built around the Cooler Master's FreeForm 2.0 platform, which lets you reconfigure the internal structure according to your hardware. Magnetic side panels allow for straightforward adjustments, and the case supports everything from Mini-ITX to E-ATX motherboards without compromise. There's also generous cooling headroom. Four pre-installed PWM fans handle airflow out of the box. GPU clearance goes up to 410mm, and the case supports radiators up to 420mm with room for three simultaneously. Truth be told, this might not be the prettiest case on the market, but it’s highly functional. The aluminum construction keeps the whole thing lightweight despite its size, and the finish looks noticeably better than the plastic mid-towers competing at this price point. If you want a serious, flexible case that prioritizes function over flashy aesthetics like RGB lighting, the MasterFrame 600 delivers at a reasonable price.
