What is your favorite MUST HAVE snack?

Recommended Posts

For me, I've got a bad diet so it's a selection of the following:

Texas BBQ pringles (whole tub usually in one sitting)

Smoky Bacon walkers crisp sandwiches (omg I have to have one of these tonight!)

Butterist toffee popcorn

or if I'm feeling a little healthier: bavarian smoked cheese, crumbed or breaded ham in tiger bread with a tiny bit of chilli mayo. drool.

sun chips, dry roasted peanuts, cashews, white grapes and cashews or granny smith with PB or and can't forget Gold N' Krispy kettle cooked chips! that's about it.

Nice thread :)

Let's see... pistachios are great. So are salted black pepper peanuts. Other snacks include sour cream and onion corn snacks (it's a similar texture as Cheetos but larger), almost all chip flavours, seaweed slices, wasabi peas...

and of course, super buttered movie-style popcorn. Stuff is horribly bad for you but what the heck. Kinda tempted to buy some of those healthier variants of margarine and use that stuff to pour onto microwaved popcorn :D

Sweet snacks aren't really my thing. But from the list above, salty snacks? Definitely.

During our state fair, there is so much deep-fried crap they offer. They'd probably deep fry your arm if you asked, haha.

In this yearly exhibition thing that goes on for two-three weeks at the end of summer, the vendors there have taken to deep frying Mars bars and butter balls. Yes, butter balls. Another novelty was making a burger out of Krispy Kremes.

Had one of the butter balls. Very fluffy and buttery to start with, then the amount of oil attacks your stomach after a while :p As for the Krispy Kreme burger... oil and sugar don't mix well. It's a taste I fail to describe properly up to this day... it just doesn't make sense!

Honey crisp Apples.

Junkfood wise, and I have this about once a year, I like to take Doritos and put seasoned meat, nacho cheese, and sour cream on top. Wait, that's a meal...

    • Autonomous post-training loop placed 8th of 4,000 and then rewrote its own evaluation strategy. An autonomous AI system built by researchers at Amazon's A-EVO-Lab completed a full post-training run on a 30 billion parameter NVIDIA Nemotron model — with no human in the loop, across four rounds running over multiple weeks — and then did something its designers had not planned for: it detected that its own internal evaluation metric had become misleading and redesigned the search strategy it was using to improve itself. https://www.techtimes.com/articles/319123/20260626/nvidia-ai-trained-itself-30b-model-corrected-its-own-broken-metric-mid-run.htm

    • If Ford would stop hiring SUITS to run the company, and put CAR GUYS back in charge perhaps they could do better. Heck, the only CAR they produce today is the Mustang. Hey Ford! Not everyone needs/wants an overpriced SUV or pickup truck that is so tall you have to have a step ladder to get in and out of it.
    • Amazing how some will just jump all over something. Probably the same people that thought Musk was a "tech god" before he saddled up with "bad orange man". Before, they worshiped at his feet, including a lot of so called hollywood types. Now, because he fell off the plantation truck, they toss him under the bus.
