Spike Lee is a propositive director, I have faith on him. However this movie should not be done if it will be dumbed down.

 

If anything it should be more extreme. Take the original's meditation on revenge to the next level.

cheap and not necessary, like every remake, a fail by definition

 

Personally i think that Let Me In while not necessary was welcome. I had previously seen the original before seeing the remake and despite this fact i still think that Let Me In is a good movie on its own merits while staying close enough to the original material.
