Shiranui
The original ending was a massive let down. Haven't watched a Korean movie since.

George P Global Moderator Posted November 21, 2013 Global Moderator Share Posted November 21, 2013 Some of you seem to be too critical of things, or maybe I don't care enough when it comes to remakes/adaptations of things into movies. We get a lot of this when a movie is made from a novel or something, even if I've read the source material or seen the original version that doesn't mean I can't enjoy this. I don't think things should to held and compared directly to their originals or source as much as some want them to. I think a number of remakes I've seen to date manage to hold their own, and if you think of them as a simple alternate retelling/version that that's enough. Now if the movie itself is just bad that's one thing but to automatically count it out because it's a remake or a reboot I don't personally agree with or do. I'll watch this and see how it turns out, if I like it I like it, doesn't mean the original is forgotten or worse because I like the remake.
