Anyone tried the new Yahoo! Browser?

I was wondering if anyone had tries the new Yahoo SBC browser.

I have seen te officila demo release for the press only http://us.yimg.com/a/ya/yahoo/pressroom/sbcydemo.zip

and i was wondering if it was good?

Since yahoo usually release good webservices i was wondering how the browser compared with MSN Software

i bet it's either rebranded IE or rebranded Mozilla, and by the screenshots and talk about "sidebar" i'm leaning more toward mozilla.

if you have IE and/or Mozilla, i highly doubt you'll be missing anything worthy

Looks like it's got pretty much everything that MSN has, but in a much uglier interface.

Definitely isn't a rebranded IE though.

Since it's yahoo, I'm sure it comes bundled with an abundance of spyware/adware too ;)

Here's a pic to compare the two. Yahoo is from the flash demo, and the msn page is at it's defaults (I don't use it, I have neowin as my homepage)

This looks more like a skinned or a revamped version of IE or Mozilla.

mmm So should i understand that you'd prefer MSn Soft to Yahoo Browser? ....As for the spyware story.....i'm not convinced Yahoo has more than MSN...

Definitly not based on Netscape...there is the Launch Radio in the sidebar and it's impossible to launch it with Netscape or Mozilla....Also the HTML toolbar of Yahoo composer doesnot appear in the webmail...it's based on ie
