I tried to install the 32bit version of ms office 2013 in my netbook, with 1,6ghz cpu, and it displays a message that this package is wrong for this type of cpu. I don't remember the exact message right now but it was something like this.
I take a look at the requirements of ms office 2013, and it mentions about 1ghz cpu, only.
I search at google to find something specific about atom and the new office, but I can't find anything.
Can somebody tell me if the new ms office can be installed in intel atom netbooks?
Of course it's hard but it doesn't make game development 10x harder as he suggested. Like you said, build it correctly in the first place. Unreal Engine supports this out of the box so any game using UE has no excuse.
