hmm...those graphics seem to be from a theme that I made with a little help from

the g.a.n.t. icons by mattahan

have any of you spoken either of us about this theme?

does anyone even ask anymore?

why do i feel so disappointed... :/

dont hold a grudge against steveo, he is not distributing it to the public, its just a personal mod that others copied from the screenshots

When I first saw screenshots of these GANT visual styles, I thought Sonus had released it. Turns out, someone used screenshots to recreate the theme. I feel this is somewhat disrespecting to Sonus as well.

anything over 50 people is "distributing"

i wont let these little technicalities ruin the desktop thread

might as well post the real thing?:pp

hmm right. and how is yours the "real thing". you never released it and there was never an official gant visual style.

and how is this disrespecting sonus. visual styles, unless you are payed to make them, are free to anyone to use regardless of how you think the rules are. his is a personal visual style along with ones everyone else has been making. people can do whatever they want with the things they make. and saying that basing something off of a screenshot is wrong to do makes absolutely no sense. show me the copyright and you'll never see what i made again. i'm really not trying to be rude or anything. and i do respect people's work. but everyone needs to settle down and realize we make things because we like them and other people do to. it's dumb to make something like this and to keep it only for yourself.

well put .. now only if everyone would realize this and get off their high horse:)

you make some valid points steve but you chose to direspect the fact that sonus was working on the theme to release to the public and get some satisfaction from being able to create a great looking visual style to release to the public, but you chose to distribute the theme you based off of sonus's design and graphics, (copying the titlebar graphic in photoshop and pasting into stylebuilder is using his graphics btw) and there is nothing wrong with that , but you chose to give it out to 50 people , (or so you say) and make sure that everyone knew about it too , I know it feels good to make a theme and "give" it out to people but I think you would be mad if sonus decided to distributed your work in progress theme behind your back.

dont even get me ****ing started, if you agree with stevo you need a slap in the face with a hammer.

if you respected peoples work you wouldnt distribute their work as your own, which is what you are doing. oh, hey, part of that vs that you are distributing has some reluna in it too.... if you want to make a vs and release, go the **** ahead, but dont take somebody elses... you can come up with your own ****. he isnt under any obligation to release **** to you guys, and seeing this posted brings back a flurry of feelings that stopped me posting here in the first place, and stopped giga from releasing his themes as well. sonus made it. respect his wishes that you not give out your rip of his work. its pretty simple.

this has nothing to do with the cash value of a visual style, and people can certainly NOT do whatever they want with the things they make. if i make a gun, can i shoot you? If i make a vs, i have ownership of that vs. its intelectual property. you distributing a rip of it is stealing.

whos on the high horse? the ****tard that thinks he is entitled to do whatever he wants with somebodies art, or the person who created the art in the first place?

which visual style that i'm making would you like? i have 3 i'm doing from scratch right now. i'll give you any of them to do with as you please, or anyone for that matter.

sonus never stated anywhere that he would ever release it. so don't even start about that.

and in reply to your message bant. i only gave out the mod yesterday (and have stopped since even before hearing anything from sonus), and if you saw the pm you would see that i specifically pointed out that it was a personal mod of reluna. i was in no way trying to say that it was all my work, so don't bitch about facts you know nothing about.

well, even the moderators here sent me pm's asking for it. so apparently they thought there was nothing wrong with what i did. so don't expect them to step in and do something about all of this. because if they do that's pretty messed up.

whether you were trying to say it was your work or not, you get credit where it is not deserved. thanks for asking if you could release bits and pieces of my theme too... i really appreciate the common courtesy...

the moderators here warez too... that doesnt make it right. but if it gets attention, maybe they will change their attitude now that sonus has posted.

stop now please...you're only digging a deeper grave.

and about giving me the themes you are working on to do whatever I wish with , just tells me that if you don't respect your own work you can't possibly respect someone elses. Just because you downloaded photoshop and stylebuilder learned to use the Rectangular Marquee tool doesn't give you the right to give out other peoples work. You could have given it to a few people for fun but you decided to make it LOUD and ClEAR that you were giving it out to as many people as your pm box can hold.

I from now on I won't post my wip shots in the desktop thread and I don't others for doing the same.

I'm done with this , it was just a bit sadening to see this happening. :(

hey atleast i got an inactive member posting again right?

your bitching won't change anything that has happened up to this point. so i really don't see your point in continuing with this.

show me the copyright and you'll never see what i made again.

Here's his copyright:
