It's here again, the snowing thread.

Well to report that on the 5th day (Wednesday) of December 2012 in Kings Hill Kent at 7.44 whole snow flakes started falling

from the sky.

06:58 it was sleet.

Yep, we had snow/sleet around that time here in North London. Not much settled but I just went for a walk and it's a bit slippery out there.

In central Scotland we got a good dumping of snow last night, then the temperature dropped, so around my street it's like a skating rink.

Woke up today checked window and it was snowing quite heavily, however stopped after 5 mins :( But although there was hardly any snow people were still driving at like 5mph which makes me not want it to snow. Will have to get up super early for work otherwise.

I wish for some snow at Xmas time but here where we are it's very rare, temps are about 30 Deg C, the sky is bright blue with a few wispy, fluffy white clouds, slight breeze coming out of the South East, so all in all a perfect day!! :laugh: :)

Enjoy the snow wherever you are, my brother tells me that it's quite cold in Scotland at present, with quite a bit of snow in the North East.

I'm also near Stirling, dumped on us Sunday night and has been hanging around turning the roads lethal ever since. Due more tomorrow apparently.

Problem is i'm quite rural and they only grit one road around here. Time to opt for a 4x4 when i can afford it + fuel.
