I dont use this setup too often cause of burn ins.. playing farcry is "quite" nice

the "Monitor" have a dvi connection, so it can be quite high res, but the best view is in 800x600

built-in antialiasing too :D

and the subs are nice too, made of cement :D

hmm should have taken an image ten minutes later :p

image probably wont load, or take a while.. cause of heavy congestion on my 512kbit server :s :p

/edit, resized image a bit.. no need to be 2272x1536 right

Neat! :)

You live in an old apartment?

SVT:s testbild ?r b?st! HEH:D:D

I was gonna post some new pics of my setup, however as I'm a tad lazy, I haven't actually finished it, so at the moment it's just a badly dis-organised mess :)

I've got a couple of pics of my workstation from where I work, so I suppose seeing as I've got 'em on my computer, I might as well post them up here:

Pretty cheap minimalist, but it'll do - I'm hoping to add a second monitor to it, which'll probably a 14" monitor, as the desk isn't big enough for another 19" monitor.

(Just the last part of the desk, with my fridge).

The computer itself isn't that bad - If I can remember correctly it's a 2.6Ghz PIV (might be slightly faster), with 1GB RAM, 50GB HDD, and Windows XP Professional. The machine also has all the latest Macromedia Software on it (except Contribute), and some other bits and pieces.

a kettle and a fridge on ur desk !?!

Yep :). I'm lucky enough to work in an ultra-relaxed office - we have music on all day (The first person in the office, which is normally me, switches all the machines on, opens up Winamp, loads up everyones shared folders with their mp3s in 'em and hits play), and we can have equipment such as fridges and kettles. I brought both of 'em but the kettle's for anyone to use, and if there's room in the fridge (which there usually is) people can drop their stuff into that as well. There's also an old 6 can fridge at the other end of the office.

you call that work? :p

lol - It's just one of those strange things that's always been done - If anyone else has ever questioned it we always say that it helps us be creative :) To be fair, I actually think it does - since we all started we've become used to working with music in the background, and it's our music that we like, so it helps keep the mind clear - I think in all honesty, if we suddenly had to work in an office where it had to be quiet the amount of work we produce would probably go down. God help me if I ever have to get another job :)

Wheres that? i want to work there!

I could tell ya that but I'd have to kill ya. J/k nah I work for a College here in the UK - the team I work in produce online learning materials, which are mostly html and Flash based.

    • I noticed this was already happening within my organization; my teams location will change between remote and on-site without me having to do anything. Is it possible this is live already for select customers?
    • I wonder what it will show when I'm plugged in with my ethernet cable at home and not using WiFi.
    • While LibreOffice is not pleased to see a new competitor, they are absolutely correct in stating that Euro-Office using a MS file standard as a default is not being truly "European." Using a MS standard just means Euro-Office is just a "bastardized MS Office Suite." (Wasn't a major purpose of Euro-Office was to get away from being captive and enslaved to MS's Office Suite??)
    • Microsoft continues its long-term policy of spying on their users--despite vehement denials. That feature will be disabled (or removed) either "elegantly" with MS providing a true way to disable it, or "quick and dirty" via a third-party who WILL come up with a way to disable it.
