Boohoo. I doubt he really wants to go out and spend the money on a new camera for one picture just to please you.

christ, you got all that from that one little post? Someone has a stick firmly lodged up their rear me thinks  It's hardly as though he flamed Stratrix and told him to get a better camera is it?

Or maybe I'm just tired of all the idiotic remarks on Neowin. First of all, this is a 'post your workstation photo' thread (I thought I'd point that out, in case some people didn't know), rather than a 'rate my picture quality, and wiring" as some people like to point out. Yes it may be a minimal amount of posts out of the so many here, but I don't really care, I just like to point out how annoying some people really are.

ha! You need more printers... :D

I have 4 printer and 2 scanners there are hp laserjet 4mv networked, hp 940, hp 930 ,hp scannerjet 4670, visionor 8900 scanner and my baby tektronic phasior 220i (i actually i have 3 of these printers in total but use one of them for parts on my first and second working ones, my second working one letting my friend use it since he a art graduate) it cost me alot of money per sheet to print on my tektronix because if any one knows of tektronix they are thermal printers which means they make stunning pictures. i always use my laserjet to print unless i need color then hp 940 for base then tektronix for highest quality and the hp scannerjet 4670 you know the one that stands its great and its not that expense so if anyone looking for a scanner get that i ya'll can see i have only HP (execpt for that visioner which i never used HAHA) well i feel there the best printers and they never die, their workhorses

Oh ya'll im very surprised no one asked me whats that black pad on the wall in my first workstation pic , well its sound proofing pad its 2" thick and if not mistaken 4, 4.5 ft long, i blast my music, and anything esle like no others

The didn't ask you because they do not care. ;)

I just figured it was part of the paint design...

why do you need 3 monitors? what GFX card are you using? i assume they span?

Well i use a NVIDIA Quadro4 750 XGL but some odd reason my card started acting up on me and now displayes white marks on my monitors and i had three cards that are the same do the same thing adn display white marks those were expense ass cards but will be getting a Quadro FX 1000 soon

Well I've been following this thread for a little while and I am quite jealous of a lot of people's stuff. I figured I'd post my humble workstation. Just a ThinkPad for me. :)

http://userpages.umbc.edu/~jlee23/workstation.jpg

and you have a PDA, what PDA is that ?

what thinkpad is it? is it newer?

My dad is in the market for a new notebook soon and told me to look around and find out what's good right now. He had a Thinkpad before and went to a Dell and says there's no comparison in quality (he started with a Thinkpad 360, had 2 since then, and a Dell Inspirion 8100) and he'd like to go back to IBM if they're just as good now as before.

This maintenance-focused release includes bug fixes, updated translations, and a range of safe enhancements. This release fixes a Windows security issue that could allow arbitrary file deletion during privileged cleaning (reported by Zeze with TeamT5). It also adds new cleaners (including a DNS cache cleaner, Claude Code, and Visual Studio Code forks), support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles, new deep scan options for developer directories like node_modules and venv, and safer, faster file shredding. All Platforms Added cleaners for Claude Code, DNS cache, and many Visual Studio Code forks. Added support for multiple Chrome and Edge profiles. Chrome can now clean downloaded AI models. Deep Scan can optionally remove venv, __pycache__, node_modules, and .angular directories. Deep Scan is faster by skipping directories on the keep list. File shredding is safer, faster, and leaves fewer recoverable traces. Improved handling of cookies, symlinks, Unicode filenames, external processes, and configuration files. Improved Expert Mode warnings and long warning dialogs. Fixed crashes related to cleaner detection, invalid Unicode, and malformed cleaner data. Clipboard is now cleared automatically after shredding files via paste operations. Linux Added AppImage support. Added cleaners for Visual Studio Code, Codeium, Librewolf (.deb), Transmission (Flatpak), and Profanity. Improved Linux trash detection, including Snap-installed applications and mounted drives. Fixed Wayland root CLI issues and several Snap-related problems. Improved package dependencies, AppStream metadata, and desktop file handling. Fixed startup crashes when Python Requests is unavailable. Windows Fixed a security vulnerability that could allow arbitrary file deletion when cleaning with elevated privileges. Added %WindowsSystem% variable support. Improved clipboard clearing using native Windows APIs. Improved installer experience on unsupported Windows versions. Reduced installer size and improved application robustness. Fixed Unicode handling, filename anonymization, Git revision reporting, and splash screen stability. • DriversCloud 12.1.6 by Razvan Serea With DriversCloud (formerly My-Config.com), you can explore your computer easily, safely and free. The application quickly scans your PC and identifies the hardware and software components. DriversCloud then establishes a list of the different drivers compatible with your OS and hardware. Download the drivers needed for the proper functioning of your computer. To detect your drivers, DriversCloud also displays a detailed summary of your hardware and software configuration, analyzes your BSOD, monitors in real-time your PC voltages and temperatures and lets you share your configuration online. Once the hardware components have been detected, you will be able to obtain with just a few clicks the latest drivers corresponding to the identified hardware. You can record your configuration on the site for free, and can get the corresponding URL to post the configuration to technical forums, e-mail and social networks. You can also download the detection result (the configuration) as a PDF file. To protect the user's privacy and data confidentiality, a 4-level confidentiality system was created that filters the XML marks and gives control to the user. The default level can be modified in the preferences. Using the maximum level will prevent the user from publishing his configuration and generating a corresponding PDF file. In non-connected mode, each XML configuration is stored on the server for one day (for practical reasons). However, you are given the opportunity to manually delete it. Created in 2004, and continually improved, My-Config.com has established itself on the web as a free service to PC users running Windows and Linux operating systems. The service is designed to work with the most common Internet browsers (Edge, Firefox, Chrome, Safari).
