now that's a clean setup

what's with the wallpaper? looks dizy-ing

LOL, I'd actually just cleaned up so I could snap the shot. It's usually pretty well kept, but very rarely THAT clean. The wallpaper is actually just kind of a shaded blue-ish sort of thing. It looks that way 'cause of the refresh/snapshot framerate mismatch whatcha-callit. :)

VERY Nice setup!

Thanks! :)

What desk is that? How much did it cost? It's really nice. Nice setup.

Thanks! The desk retails at around $1800 with all the options, but I bought it off my wife's boss for $250. (They were moving offices and wanted all new furniture, must be rough, eh?)

Oh, okay. I guess that desk is out of the question for me then until I get out of college (not soon).

Look around. I obviously got a great deal on it, but it's an older model. You might be able to find one relatively cheap. I think it's a Sauder brand, so they're easy to find. :)

Been lurking on this thread for awhile checking out the setups, so now I guess it's my turn. Here's the system I put together recently for audio/video/graphics since I'm working out of the house now.

Do you happen to know anything else about that desk's name? What material is it?

I'm sure it's just MDF or something with a cherry veneer. It's just amazingly heavy, though. I think if we ever move again, that sucker's staying here... lol It's nice and all, but it sits just a bit too high, the keyboard tray is awkward, and the circular part on the right trashes the arms on my chair. But hey, for $250, whaddya want?

I'm not finding it anywhere... I guess I can look for my own desk. In my current room, I have no room for anything, as with the current furniture, I have bout a 5 by 6 living space... Anything bigger and I wouldn't be able to walk in my room. But when I move into the shop (as soon as my uncle takes his stuff out), I am in the market for a better desk.

I see you have a trusty "HP LJ 6" sitting in the corner. Those things never die.

Yes they can Die, mine Died recently, It was a LJ 4L, It survived 4 different PCs, from my old Windows 3.1 IBM PS/1 to my newer P4 2.8 laptop, I was sad sad i loved that printer, It was very tonner economic, I recharged the tonner every year (and I printed a lot) I even bought the 1MB memmory expansion:( ,I recently bought an Laserjet 1012 I hope it won't let my down and live up to her older sister printer status.

Sorry to tell you this Memo.... but I think it may just let you down depending on your printing habits.

We bought two of them for 100$ a piece, and the first thing I hated about this printer was no PCL. It is a host based driver which did not set well with me at all. We have 5,000 sheets on one of them and it has gone through 3 toners.

    • Microsoft brings Planner Agent to all Microsoft 365 Copilot users by Ivan Jenic Image: Microsoft Microsoft has announced that Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot is now generally available to all users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Planner Agent is the latest addition in the string of AI features that Microsoft is implementing across virtually all of its products. The agent lets you manage tasks through natural language prompts directly inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can create and update tasks, check priorities, and get insights about current entries without leaving the chat interface. The general availability release comes with a handful of new additions on top of what was available during the initial rollout. A new plan picker lets you search and filter your plans by name, then update task names, statuses, due dates, or priorities through the agent. There's also a goals bucket now, which lets you group tasks under specific goals. This builds on the Goals view, a feature that was introduced as part of the broader Planner refresh that rolled out earlier. Image: Microsoft | Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot All AI-generated plans and tasks are created in draft mode by default, so you can review and approve changes before anything goes through. This is actually a thoughtful safety feature, because trusting AI to handle all your tasks without a human in the loop is usually a recipe for disaster. Having tasks initially saved as drafts is the best possible middle ground. Microsoft also says that not all tasks are executed equally. Simple tasks get processed quickly, while more complex ones, like building a plan from a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, are handed to a more capable model. Microsoft says this approach delivers the best performance, but it could also help with usage management, as you won't have to waste tokens on performing simple tasks. Planner Agent is available now across Teams, Loop, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 apps for anyone on a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription.
    • To be clear I'm anti trump, the bigger point is why review this game at all?
    • Trillion dollar Microsoft has to reduce spending by hurting more people. Good job Microsoft. Good Job Asha.
    • That's a shame. The big Xbox reset when Phil and Sarah left and then Asha came on and brought a new team of executives, and all the layoffs last year and saying that the ABK merger wouldn't result in redundancies I am surprised they are calling for yet another reset and yet more layoffs.
    • Arkane, Ninja Theory, and Double Fine might be on the chopping block too.
