hey nuscur have you seen the new big LCD from dell yet? its super good stuff.. very sharp and clean. and with all that money you are putting in just trying to impress people (not calling you out here by any means, just stating what im observing as being obvious because you cannot possibly use that much space) who are more annoyed than impressed, i would think that you would have some sort of killer badass notebook also... 4 lcds for only $600 (which i dont believe at all to be honest with you) is nothing compared to a $6000 notebook :ninja:

the price is correct ..25% off coupon+epp discount+stackable $ off+coupons i had directly from dell cuz of pervious issues (them not senidng me my free 17" lcd tv)+bulk order.. took alot off the price

and yes ive seen the 24" dell will not allow pre-orders for them already tried, altho now that i stare @ pic i dont like that cardreader in lower left corner looks kinda cheesy...... and no i do not have a lapt:) :)

but you havent actually seen the product - the actual lcd - it is actually a bit brighter than the 2005 - get a notebook - it will serve you much better than all those lcds ever will.

I am trying to find a desk that will fit both of my CRT monitors without breaking. My current desk bows in the middle like WhizzKid's since it is made of cheap compressed wood(Nothing against your desk WhizzKid). I was thinking of getting 2 IKEA Jerkers and making a setup like the guy a few pages back had. Anybody have any suggestions? I was wanting to spend less than $500 if possible.

that is a really nice setup fatcat, i love the desk, we have them at work . . . but I still love my old school ikea drafting table (pure quality unlike some new stuff)

glass desks get very dirty very easily. I spend at least an hour or two on my computer every day. after 3 days, I have marks EVERYWHERE on my desk. not to mention scratches too. Cleaning it is hard, cause you always miss a spot, then the spot stands out.

If I could rewind time, I would buy a wooden desk.

Actually... Glass desks are not that hard to clean... *I own one* I mean, yes they will get dirty, and covered in dust eventually...

I have a glass desk as well and in no way do I regret getting it. I think it looks more sleek and it isn't as big a deal as IK says it is.
