I've got a frosted glass desk (similar setup to FatCat's - there's a pic somewhere back in this thread:P) and it works real well. Hard to see when it's dirty and washes off real well. Definitely the best desk I've used out of about 4 in my life. As long as you don't have big CRTs I'd heartily recommend one to anyone!

Thanks. I use 2 video cards. Both are GeForce FX5200's. One AGP, which one monitor is plugged into, and the second has the other two plugged in, which is PCI. The whole setup is analogue. I'd say if your going to get any other LCD's go straight for BenQ. BenQ is the company that manufactures dell LCD's.

I don't get good performance on games, because the card I use for games sucks. I'm going to be upgrading it to a 6800 ultra at the end of this month.

Oh okay,

So all i have to do is a buy a pci graphics card? good. Thanks for your help.

nice setup. I love that monitor. Oce I throw away some junk and clear up my desk, I might look into that one.

IK, what I was talking about is how you wasted the money on those monitors when you could have saved a fortune. I NEVER recommended actually getting anything. I just suggested that IF you got something, DO NOT WASTE THE MONEY ON DELL. ahem, ok?

So you are saying to throw these away and buy the benq monitors that you have?

I am trying to find a desk that will fit both of my CRT monitors without breaking.  My current desk bows in the middle like WhizzKid's since it is made of cheap compressed wood(Nothing against your desk WhizzKid).  I was thinking of getting 2 IKEA Jerkers and making a setup like the guy a few pages back had.  Anybody have any suggestions?  I was wanting to spend less than $500 if possible.

LOL. My desk doesn't bow in the middle, it has a curved front. It is support at the bottom by two metal beams.

Sorry to suggest that. I have a slightly larger desk and 2 large 21" CRTs that put a lot of stress on the wood. Believe me, if that was a bow in your desk mine is much worse. Some days I'm afraid to put my legs under the desk for fear that they might get crushed. I guess that's the price I pay for a cheap desk and large monitors.

grrr... cant ppl stop f***ing with the page layouts by posting large images in their posts

just use the attachment system. 250k is easily enough for 3x 1024*768 images. just save them to 70% quality and use the attachment system which resizes them nicely!

I got a func mouse pad and it seems that the steelpad looks a lot better :(

funcs are kinda un-stylish. however, lotsa the USA cal-i teams swear by them, so long as they are sprayed with a silicon spray. but us euros prefer steelpads understated styling :p

what is it with the obsesion some people have over dazzle's computer...

your not stalking him right ???

Thats pretty funny. He went to the place the images are hosted for the selling link in his sig. If you go to the root there is a receipt.

    • Microsoft brings Planner Agent to all Microsoft 365 Copilot users by Ivan Jenic Image: Microsoft Microsoft has announced that Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot is now generally available to all users with a Microsoft 365 Copilot license. Planner Agent is the latest addition in the string of AI features that Microsoft is implementing across virtually all of its products. The agent lets you manage tasks through natural language prompts directly inside Microsoft 365 Copilot. You can create and update tasks, check priorities, and get insights about current entries without leaving the chat interface. The general availability release comes with a handful of new additions on top of what was available during the initial rollout. A new plan picker lets you search and filter your plans by name, then update task names, statuses, due dates, or priorities through the agent. There's also a goals bucket now, which lets you group tasks under specific goals. This builds on the Goals view, a feature that was introduced as part of the broader Planner refresh that rolled out earlier. Image: Microsoft | Planner Agent in Microsoft 365 Copilot All AI-generated plans and tasks are created in draft mode by default, so you can review and approve changes before anything goes through. This is actually a thoughtful safety feature, because trusting AI to handle all your tasks without a human in the loop is usually a recipe for disaster. Having tasks initially saved as drafts is the best possible middle ground. Microsoft also says that not all tasks are executed equally. Simple tasks get processed quickly, while more complex ones, like building a plan from a Word, Excel, or PowerPoint file, are handed to a more capable model. Microsoft says this approach delivers the best performance, but it could also help with usage management, as you won't have to waste tokens on performing simple tasks. Planner Agent is available now across Teams, Loop, SharePoint, and other Microsoft 365 apps for anyone on a Microsoft 365 Copilot subscription.
