Wow clever link, really. I have no problem with discussing actual desktops and hardware questions and such, and have participated in this thread as such. But there is absolutely no need for countless posts about "Dude you spent like $5000 on monitors that's insanse" followed by "you shouldn't be in debt." I'm trying to keep it on topic, while you and others are not.

IK 47 clear off you immature little runt, you're worse than rpm was (old time members will remember him) and I for one am totally sick of seeing your crap across all of the forums. This thread is not "See IK 47's Workstation" so stop thinking it is, and if you really want the attention go make your own thread all about you, which nobody will care about and it will get locked.

And getting back on topic, out of boredom I hooked my TV up to my main comp for ****s and giggles.

I agre:p:;);)

Nice idea, i sometimes do it with my projector, have yet to try it with plasm:p:p

Started off as the desk that came with an mfi bedroom (www.mfi.co.uk) but me and my stepdad modified it and replaced the actual desktop with a wardrobe side panel and stuck a support in the middle (you can see it next to the comp under the desk). :)

You are the one complaining.

I personally think that You (ik 47) Should stop posting your workstation so many ****in times, if you want people to see it, put a link in your sig or something, you only need to post it once in here!

I have posted the pictures twice. The second was when I added more hardware. People just quote it and keep talking about it. If you really want to, you can go and report them for spamming, and going off topic.

Very nice stuff. Where do you keep your front speakers?

I really wish people would crop their images.

Is there a way for people to just post a clickable thumbnail that takes you to the full image?

Be careful how you toss those personal attacks around. Trying to call me immature on the internet? If you truly think that I need to be corrected, why don't you come around to my city and see how you get raped.

So your going to rape him now? :x

Seriously mate, you ever think of going near homer, and youll have half of west yorkshire on yuor case ;)

First off, thanks for the replies! I really appreciate it. This is a huge forum and even though I am a member of many other forums, some some, some large, it was almost intimidating posting my pictures compared to some of yours! Anyways, to answer your questions....

"Very nice stuff. Whats that big "shark fin" thing on your desk? Just curious."

"Shark fin thing"? Not sure what youre talking about. Ive got a Belkin Wireless G router, motorola phone that I never use, MX Duo base station/charger, Z-5500 Control Pod, mouse, keyboard, monitor.

"extreme: what are you using to mount the speakers on the wall?"

Im using anchor screws and theyre working great. The speakers are as sturdy as they would be if they were screwed into a stud. The speakers have stands that can be swiveled/rotated to become wall mounts. Everything is stock(except the screws).

"skater?"

I used to be. Why do you ask? My posters?

BTW, anyone have the Jerker? Any drawbacks?

EDIT: btw, thanks Storm. Ive since changed it but its for the better

I seemed to have missed your other question IK. I have them up on two shelves in the very corners of my room. I had a Kenwood surround sound system, which has been moved to one of our guest bedrooms, with speakers on those shelves before I got the 5500s and have been too lazy to mount my 5500 front speakers as of yet. My center channel sits atop my 27" Toshiba 27AF44. I must say, the 5500s are incredible!

talking of logout links, the best way to fool people to actually click it is to go to http://tinyurl.com and make a tiny url out of the logout url. that way when it shows the tooltip on mouseover, people will be utterly fooled :D

oh ye, and i think youm0nt is absolutely right, i aint got nothin to prove to u guys, and i dont see why anyone should! you ARE who you ARE!

    • Windows 11 KB5094126 BSODing, freezing, forcing BitLocker lockout, breaks OneDrive, and more by Sayan Sen Microsoft released Windows 11 KB5094126 and KB5093998 last week as the latest Patch Tuesday updates. Following that the company also published the accompanying dynamic updates under KB5094149, KB5095971, and KB5094156. While Microsoft has so far not acknowledged any major problems with the release, some users online are running into problems. These range from OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, BitLocker recovery lockouts, to blue screens and BSODs. The most common one seems to be happening with HP systems wherein affected users say they hit 0xc0430001 BSOD (blue screen of death) error code after the KB5094126 update. We wonder if this could be related to the recent bug we covered on HP devices wherein the ongoing Secure Boot certificate updates are leading to similar issues. While we are not certain, users affected by this issue likely need to ensure that the boot.stl file is included on the installation media (such as a USB installer or ISO), if the above-mentioned dynamic updates are deployed. If this file is missing, computers may fail to boot from the installation media and could display the error 0xc0430001. This STL file is used by Secure Boot to verify that the boot files are trusted, so it must match the same Windows version and system architecture. To ensure the file is included, Microsoft recommends using the Update WinPE script, which automatically updates the image and handles the required files. Alternatively, you can manually copy the boot.stl file from the Windows\Boot\EFI folder on a Windows device and place it in the matching folder on your installation media before deploying the updated image. Aside from blue screening some users also note their systems have been freezing following the update. In the case of the OneDrive and Dropbox access issues, a user figured out that there could be a conflict with UAC. He explained: "Okay, so I did some digging, and in our environment KB5094126 breaks OneDrive and Dropbox in Explorer. I went through all our GPOs and found out that the combination of disabling UAC and having my user being a local admin breaks OneDrive in Explorer. ... If I enable UAC again, then it works, even with KB5094126 still installed." Hopefully, Microsoft will look into these issues.
