I need a better cam and a new desk, but I just got my new Dell 8400 with 19" LCD and wanted to post it...I built my other PC some time ago but now days its cheaper just to buy it already made up...Dell with 3GHz, 512 Ram, 40Gig Drive with LCD cost me 499.00 after coupons and rebates. I will add more HD space later along with more Ram. post-36290-1113852334_thumb.jpg

Not much has changed, Put my Router upright... ummm about it.

Sorry about the poor picture quality, Dodgy miserable British day indoor lighting.

how those Z-5500's treating you? Do you think that it's a good idea to upgrade from Z-5300e to Z-5500? I have 13 days left to decide.

I paid $199 for the Z-5300's, and the Z-5500's cost $365.

btw, I think the router looks cooler when it's horizontal.

I love your setup Hypoxiaicon... it is so clean and all those lovely items... the beautiful speakers... the top-notch LCD and keyboard/mouse... I'm drooling. :D

If you have money to spare, buy them.

There excellent speakers. Just dont use the Master on/off switch on the subwoofer otherwise the fuse will blow.

The Router got too hot sat normal, keeps it cooler upright :)

Why do you say poor image quality that picture looks great :)

585795871

The flash made a bad reflection of my Router among other things.

Also, the original Reso + Size was around 2.5MB.

I had to resize to 1024x768 and then reduce quality to fit it under 250KB.

very neat setup  Hypoxiaicon :)

with black thermaltake case i should say WoW

btw whats that keyboard?

i would buy one for my setup  :woot:

Yeh... Im not impressed with the Coolermaster Wavemaster at all really.

Its a Logitech diNovo Cordless :)

to tell you the truth i wasnt all that  impressed with the wavemaster either.

585797614

Yeh, dont hold back Its an average case really.

If you are thinking of replacing it anytime soon, maybe consider a thermaltake shark?

585797636

Hmm, Im not too keen on those either but I shall Take a look when im back

Why weren't you all impressed with the Wavemaster?

585797725

Small internal area, Poor cooling, Top Fan is useless as it makes far too much noise (Yes ive tried different fans and adjusting speeds) Its heavy...

Just generally not impressed with it, I would not buy another.

I only did the side panel today, and I've just done a big clean today as well. You won't get my room neater than this:

post-88749-1113942754.jpg

View from my door, That's my computer on the right and the internet box on the left.

That corner with the desk with the monitor and the computer is the only part of my room which is really mine, as mines the computer room everyone else uses my bed as a seat and the entire room as their own.

post-88749-1113942924.jpg

The internet box with my dad's nice leather seat (I'm on it right now). And before anyone shouts anything those things on the top shelf are CD spindles not one some others would immediately think. And the two bits of paper: ones contact details of the local pc store the other is a scribbled note saying 'No place like 127.0.0.1'.

Witty.

My rig, with the new side panel. Did it all myself, check out the overclocking and pc modding section on the post your Case mod lighting pics section. Page 34 is me.

I've tidied up all the cables as best I can and just under the desk you can see my cunningly hidden speakers. 2 horrible satellite speakers.

The two wires coming to the front are keyboard and mouse which I'll show you how annoying they get in the next photo.

post-88749-1113943167.jpg

As you can see the wires aren't too long, before my brother went to uni (so I could steal his chair) I had to lie on the floor with my head propped up on my bin with my legs all scrunched up, the keyboard in my lap at a 89degree angle and my mouse hand constantly keeping it from falling over. The mouse also doesn't work, it's extremely bad.

Getting a wireless set ASAP.

The chair has made a big difference but now I have to balance my mouse and mousemat on the edge of my knees and they keep falling off, I've still got kayboard and mouse in my lap. Wireless will soon have me lying on my bed playing doom3 properly though :)

All in all not the best setup but until I'm older and can have my own place, job etc. all that, I'll have to live with it, and I'm proud

    • Because of the EU (a good thing) newer android devices been getting 5 years worth of security patches. Except some Motorola which found the loop hole, and offer ZERO updates. In addition, Google for years have been making where it can patch some stuff by updating the core Google Play Store itself.  As echoed earlier,  you take the security risk in to your own hand beyond supported.

    • Yes for me, I installed 'old calculator' (Windows 7 calculator) in its place since it is more useful to me. I think paint is the only one I left installed
