Think thats bad? One of my first jobs where I sat at a desk, I was working for a friends company and ran a homebrew PIII/512/40GB system out of a milk crate, it had a monitor (15" Dell in a milk crate case) and sat on a plywood board desk supported my milk crates. I sat on a stack of 2 milk crates for 7hours a day, for 4 days a week for a year. That was almost 3 years ago, my back still bothers me from it. I dont use a PC for my job anymore now but I enjoy my duct-tape,soft padded chair I got from my mom.

2405FPW is officially on my desk and its awesome

Them 4 inches make a huge difference, Just not sure id trust Dell to buy another monitor with all the problems.

Im still waiting for some issues to be resolved with my 2005FPW.

LoL whats wrong with a Sony Laptop  They are better than most laptops and they look much nicer i think... but mine isnt exactly "portable" compared to my old ibm thinkpad but this was supposed to be a desktop replacement so still happy with it. The Powerpack for the sony vaio is a tad bit humongous tho. Also it doesnt come with any installation or recovery cd, so am a bit puzzled by it.. is this normal for the new sony vaios! i am a windows xp n00b

:pinch:

    • It is when it's a desktop in my house though for a PC that's lightly used and not really important when it is. If it was a laptop, it would be a different story. The real solution is varied and begins starting at post #22 in that thread.
