I am so envious

How much did that run you?

Do you regret buying it at all? I think I'm gonna get a 19 or 20 inch one.

Edit: Not necicarly regret, but I'm guessing thats close to a grand, and thats quite a bit for a Monitor...

Nah, I need a high resolution monitor, so no regrets.  It's absolutely great.  I bought it a few weeks ago for about $1050 USD.

Oh, and Randy, that big laptop is an HP zd7000

I was referring to the smaller one. I couldn't tell the big one was wide screen.

Hypoxiaicon, is it possible for the Z-5500 centre channel to sit flat on it's stand inside the 2005FPW base?  The speaker stand is too big too fit inside the 1704fp though.

Nope, doesnt sit flat. Its tilted up and rest agains the stand of the 2005FPW. Ive angled the speaker accordingly, works well!

Just wondering....why do most of you guys have like 4 speakers or more?? aren't two enough? for me, personally, the built in speakers are enough for me:P

I kind of agree with you, the people that have 4 speakers straight infront of them - that doesn't make sense. I have 7 speakers set up in a surround sound config, because I like music, and I like films in surround sound.

Oh, I agree there. I have 5.1 set up normally for gaming, movies and music but I am mobing so because I am a nice guy I thought I would fill the rawplug holes before I went, thus they have to sit on the desk for a week or two.

:D my chair knocks on it all the time and i'm too lazy to raise the bar or collapse it. the speakers just hang on a screw head and i tighten by twisting something at the back. i bought it from creative back in 2001. they've got a newer black and white one which is much nicer.

yeah its good for cs:source and half life 2 especially. i like to jump up on people when they're running past me. :D

    • If someone chooses to continue using SB and therefore goes through the manual intervention in the thread, afterwards the BSOD problem is gone. Whether they then re-enable the task doesn't matter, they're done, though on such machines it might pay to keep it disabled in case the next update (if there is a next) causes the same problem. OTOH, if someone disables SB in the BIOS, the problem is also gone. Incidentally, I noticed that this task exists even on machines that don't support SB. It's just installed across the board...and runs. Doing what on such machines is a little hazy.
