It's just that most people are right handed and thus it is easier for them to access the cd drive etc. on the righthand side

Obviously you are lookinga t his monitor and his organizer rack. If you look closely you can see, under the desk a really nice looking black tower, hardly hailing from the Win3.1 days.

I have a CRT, it's lovely, and broken, and gives me headaches.

My case is currently ok to look at (new antec plusview) but the insides make most people squirm. And not with delight.
