nice setup! where did u get your desk from?

thanks :) it's a Bush computer desk. got it at Best Buy 4 yrs ago, so i don't think they make it any more. This one is similar: http://www.bushfurniture.com/html/desks_33.htm I had to cut the top part in half to fit the CRT monitor on the left side and the LCD is mounted from the top shelf.

Here's mine. The pic is low quality because it came from a webcam/digital camera.

This is just after I've replaced the monitor with a 19" Proview monitor.

PS: Great site, Neowin is! I am not new to computers. I visited NTFS.org regularly when I decided to visit more computing sites. I hope I will enjoy my self here.

ok guys here ya are i got a new desk and new laptop but i am minus the 2 crt monitors now as i have bought a new diamaond view 172b lcd which will be soon enought 2 of :)

new desk and new look and yes first time ever the desk is clean :)

Looks good, if you clipped up them wires behind the desk so they aren't visible everything would look cleaner :yes:

also you have the same speakers as me :woot:

    • Not really. It should be unnoticeable in the end. All this change does is take advantage of your CPUs boost clocks for specific tasks which should be used in this fashion anyway. Actually, it should've been like this for years.
    • This sort of thing isn't anything new, lots of Linux distros act this way iirc.
