Ipad Mini sold out everywhere?

What is going on? I thought this was not a popular device. Now for 2 weeks I am looking for it and its sold out everywhere. Target, both Apple stores near me, Walmart, Best Buy, my wife and gf will both be disappointed if I cannot get them a present this year.

What smaller stores (brick and mortar) sell them? Too late to get in the mail.

I struggled to get one, i finally managed by walking into the Apple store every day, they don't know when they're getting a shipment apparently.. i was told to order online a couple of days in a row, went in a following day and got one, he did say the demand is curraazyyy... and i'm not surprised, i downgraded from retina for my mini and don't regret it one bit, the size is so perfect who gives a **** about retina
