hey windows x, nice work...but.. like cat was telling you, it would have been smarter to start your OWN thread and saying you releasing a pdc login, im not sure you'ld be very happy if i post my own longhorn pack into your thread right? and if this is just a kinda (beta) why not helping us make a good one, or tell us how to fix this and this instead of saying "this is working on mine blablabla.."

anyway..i dont wanna start flamming, if you are more experienced in those things, thats good, if you don't wanna help and do it yourself, thats ok, but dont kill our works.

Thx

Regards

Thanks BuG - I agree we should all work together on this. My version is in Beta 2 - by no means the final version yet - and will go through lots of revisions while we help each other. But if Windows X is as good as he claims in his posts (in not so many words) then I am happy to work with him on resolving the issues we all have on this login.

Do what ever you wish but don't mess within my file (personalize your own) And remember, this is very old file from mine (So I'm first one?).

Think that was the last thing on my mind

The login you supplied is corrupt unfortunately Windows X, maybe you will re release it in your own thread for your release ? - please don't detract from my work like that. - no flaming intended, I just respect politeness ;) If you'd like to join forces with me an bug just PM us and we can work together properly as a community effort on Neowin :)

Thanks

Cat.

I never thought to release this login seperately before my Longhorn Pack and this time. I just can't let meself seeing this thing like it was and I didn't plan to mess your work so I put my fix in right? Positive thinking please.

hmm thats why they are called BETA's they have bugs in them - but by no means are they the final versions. Just test copy's BuG and I are still working on other parts of this login at the moment. So I have some more revisions to make yet.

If you want to work alone with your login thats fine, but release your work in your own thread ?? - its kind of respectful to do that rather than try to damage the work BuG and I are doing. Like I said we should really share idea's on this - that would be nice. Sure my login may need some work on it yet. But give it time It will be fine and unique to our own standards and quality of the kind of login we want.

ok, but why not instead of realesing yours with the 'fixes' you telling us what to change, as you saw in the thread we got couples of problems with it, why not helping us instead of showing yours... we admit we need help on couples of point..if you know how to solve them tell us, better than putin a link to yours saying its working...

You said yourself "if you know how to solve them tell us"

That's why I post my file, to help you know how to do not messing your work. By the way, if you still thinking I'm not allies, I'll let this off before your flamming begin.

Windows X where can we get a copy of your login please ? - believe your intention is to HELP us with our login, so ok ! - Please share your version so I can sort the bugs out with our version :) I am sorry if any misunderstanding was happening too.

I'd like any help on sorting the bugs out ! thats really apprieciated. :) your link earlier just had a damaged file in side.

If you can share it again I will have a look at your work and I can start on making a Beta 3 for Mine and BuG's release

Thanks

Cat.

I think I already told you all what you should do in page 9? Because of your word

"ok, but why not instead of realesing yours with the 'fixes' you telling us what to change, as you saw in the thread we got couples of problems with it, why not helping us instead of showing yours... we admit we need help on couples of point..if you know how to solve them tell us, better than putin a link to yours saying its working..."

I will do what he want because you want it like this before right? I just wanna put that file for let you guys explore mine for learning from my previously work but he said no so I won't post it till I release my Longhorn Transformation Pack.

Suit yourself ;) no loss to me what you do at least I tried to clear up any misunderstanding we had on this. I wasn't happy about the way you 'offered' your help by posting your version right in my thread. That was NOT polite. If you had of PM'ed it to us 'for so called learning' from your older version that would have been polite and curteous. Posting it the way you did in our thread was making your version 'publically' available thus taking attention away from our own development on our release. Besides I started this release of the PDC login, I'd say it is down to me what I do with this login NOT YOU or anyone else.

I have been skinning applications since 2001 Windows X, I will figure out my own login screen acceptible to how I want it made based on user feedback. (as I always have done)

    • Password Safe 3.72.0 by Razvan Serea Password Safe is a password database utility. Like many other such products, commercial and otherwise, it stores your passwords in an encrypted file, allowing you to remember only one password (the "safe combination"), instead of all the username/password combinations that you use. Once stored, your user names and passwords are just a few clicks away. Using Password Safe you can organize your passwords using your own customizable references—for example, by user ID, category, web site, or location. You can choose to store all your passwords in a single encrypted master password list (an encrypted password database), or use multiple databases to further organize your passwords (work and home, for example). And with its intuitive interface you will be up and running in minutes. PasswordSafe was originally designed by the renowned security technologist Bruce Schneier and released as a free utility application. Password Safe 3.72.0 changelog: Fixed bugs Improved font scale handling - should resolve font size issues on high resolution displays. GH1749 In the Master Password Setup window, "Show Master Password" is no longer truncated on some displays. GH1092, SF1595 Size and position of main window is now correctly restored on scaled displays. SF1630 Keep password expiry date when both password and password expiry are changed; don't clear a non-recurring expiry when the password's changed. SF1628 Custom values can now be copied to the clipboard in read-only mode via Ctrl-C and right-click->Copy Value. New features GH1196 Dark display mode support: Password Safe now supports the system display mode, as well as setting the mode directly via Manage->Options->Display->Display Mode. This change also updates the general "look & feel" of the app to the current Windows theme. Known limitations: The Date picker and keyboard shortcut controls do not switch to dark theme The Customize Toolbar dialog does not switch to dark theme Custom Field support has been added to the more advanced features: Filters XML and Text import and export Comparison, Sync and Merge databases SF938 Custom field values may now be selected by name and copied via a "Copy Custom Field Value..." submenu in the entry context popup menu. SF936 Notes and Custom fields layout now overlap, selectable by tabs, resulting in a more compact and less cluttered layout. SF935 Autotype: Specifying '\v{name}' in the autotype text will cause the corresponding value to be autotyped. • I've got a SoundBlasterX G6 that I use in my streaming setup. Sounds great to me and I've had zero issues with the ancient software package so far in Win11. That G6 has 7.1, Dolby, fully working SPDIF and since it's a USB device it's outside of my rig so I don't have to worry about EMF distortion. Looks like for now this is a pass for me as I think I have better hardware....
