I was about 46, I guess....... that was 10 years ago. Blackberry -> Androids -> iPhone. Who knows what's next? :shiftyninja:

Must have been 1992, I was 26. It was the Motorola DynaTAC 8000x darkgrey

Took a bit of a break after that and then got a Sony phone around 1998 or so.

Motorola DynaTAC 8000x > Sony CM-DX1000 > CMD-C1 > Nokia 3110 > 7110 > 6620 > 6680 > N73 > N95 > LG arena (yeah I know..) > HTC Desire > Nokia Lumia 800 > Soon to come Nokia Lumia 920

I think I was 25, my daughter was around 5 at that time so that is what I'm basing it on, partly due to where I was living as well. She was born when I was 20 so easy math. :)

My first cell phone was one that a friend of a client my ex-wife knew went dumpster driving behind a cell phone store, grabbed several they tossed and gave some to us. Never before was I so scared to go into a store (THAT SAME ONE as it was the only one in the area at the time), and ask to activate it on prepaid. I was afraid they would know it was tossed a few days beore. NOPE! Walked out proudly with a prepaid AT&T Go Phone at the time and never looked back. Times were a lot different then too. That was 14 years ago (That's all? Jeez!), and when things were starting to expand in my region cell wise.

I agree about Trump, but then I don't trust any politician, they all seem to be there for one reason, their pocket
    • Hi all. I have a seven year old Acer laptop which according to Acer website can't receive the new MS secure boot updates. This device lives in my bedroom and is purely a consumption device. No gaming, no nothing. I have followed online instructions and turned off secure boot which now gives me a green tick in W11 Security instead of the yellow exclamation mark. Now, I have MWB Premium now for several years and I'm reasonably careful with my online activity with this laptop. I'm also not a gamer in any way so I'm not asking much from this laptop. Given that, am I safe to continue using this device for banking etc given I've turned off secure boot? That's it, that's my question.
    • finally [Taskbar] Taskbar customization just got easier. As we continue to make improvements to the Taskbar experience mentioned last month, we've introduced a dedicated Taskbar Size setting, making it simpler to find, understand, and personalize your ideal taskbar experience.
    • Let me get this straight... It was a web interface for Gmail, so if privacy at Google wasn't concerning enough you'd be going through two companies. And their big feature was the very thing that would make people consider dumping Gmail.
