How old were you when you got your first mobile phone?

I'm 40, love my gadgets, but don't own a mobile phone. I have no plan to buy one any time soon either.

Kind of a silly poll really, considering that any one nowadays can afford one, whereas many many years ago, you had to be almost rich to afford one.

I didn't get one till I was close to 25, and it cost me a fortune just to get it, and the plans were super expensive back then too.

Nowadays a 10 year old kid could afford to buy one with money earned from 1 night of babysitting, or washing someone's car, etc. etc.
