World Trade Organisation has nullified US copyrights for Antigua.

This just in! The World Trade Organisation has granted a suspension on US copyrights for Antigua

because of some US world trade violations that crippled the country's economy years back.

It has something to do with trying to give Antigua a way to make back lost revenue.

Antigua is now setting up a legal pirate site that will distribute US TV, Movies, Software and music. LEGALLY!

What do you think?

?Government-authorized piracy would undermine chances for a settlement that would provide real benefits to Antigua. It also would serve as a major impediment to foreign investment in the Antiguan economy, particularly in high-tech industries,? U.S. officials said earlier.

A classic example of economic warfare. I'm surprised that Antigua is pursuing such a bold course of action but at least it's going through legal channels.

If the US did indeed do anything extreme, It would only serve to land them in more hot water. Especially when you consider that they are a peaceful nation.

I'm kind of hoping this will force the US entertainment industry to move all their content online, giving people access globally. If not, then I guess Antigua

will be the only people providing the service, and no income will go to the actual creators of the content. Adapt or die comes to mind :)

    • Tor Browser 15.0.17 by Razvan Serea Protect your privacy. Defend yourself against network surveillance and traffic analysis. Tor is a network of virtual tunnels that allows people and groups to improve their privacy and security on the Internet. The Tor software protects you by bouncing your communications around a distributed network of relays run by volunteers all around the world: it prevents somebody from watching your Internet connection and learning what sites you visit, it prevents the sites you visit from learning your physical location, and it lets you access sites which are blocked. The Tor Browser Bundle lets you use Tor on Windows, Mac OS X, or Linux without needing to install any software. It can run off a USB flash drive, comes with a pre-configured web browser to protect your anonymity, and is self-contained. • Yes, it was amusing at the time because even then dbrand was well known for stealing the designs of products from other companies. That’s what they do.
