Is there a large "events" website or something?

I tried to Google "Find UK events" but the results were poop, and I'm too sleepy to try further, so I thought I'd post here - selfish me :o

EDIT: Only one beer event that weekend, and it doesn't look worth me traveling to.

What if you're one of the estimated 55,008,581 people that live in the United Kingdom outside of London?

I'm not against ideas out in London. I love the place and I am willing to travel there. I should have mentioned I was looking for events all over the UK I guess. My fault :)

I just guessed and lo ... http://www.timeout.com/manchester/ exists.

I'm sure others do as well.

I assumed London, yes that was foolhardy of me, but the point is, TimeOut is probably the right resource for your original events query.
