i love milk especially with a lil hersheys chocolate syrup mixed in, sometimes when i am hungry i drink a glass of milk and it suppresses my appetite for a few hours.

i work on a beverage truck with the doors on the side. i have one that is broken and it wont stay open like it should. the other day the broken on came down and slammed down on my arm...if i didn't drink milk like i do it most likely my arm would be broken.

I drink most of a gallon of milk every day...studies show it hydrates you better than water and makes an excellent sports drink.

It's also the easiest and healthiest 2400 calories you can get and since I need about 4000 calories a day, it's pretty much taken over my diet.

I would die if I was lactose intolerant.

One glass of 1% once a day. I grew up on a farm where we milked cows by hand twice daily - 5am and 5pm. We drank whole milk, had to shake it up first as the cream would rise to the top. We separated the whole milk, the skim milk went to the pigs and the cream into crocks kept in the fridge. My grandmother sold it - .50/pint or $1.00/quart. I loved it on fresh peaches!

Are we talking about milk or "milk"? I mean I drink milk straigh from the farmers that they have milked (No idea if the right word?) in the same morning. I usually don't drink that stuff they call milk in the shops. That crap in the stores is just powder based mixed with water and only a small % is actually real milk.

Personally, I don't drink milk. It's interesting to hear the opinions of people around the world on this one though, since it seems like views vary so much. I used to drink milk all the time as a kid, but I'm just not a huge fan anymore these days. I don't mind a glass of milk every now and then, but I mostly just use it in cereal, any cooking, dipping cookies, etc. It's funny, I get the half gallons of milk from the store and still usually end up pouring most of it down the drain. I just don't use it fast enough half the time, but it's one of those things I'll use enough to want.

My mom is actually lactose intolerant, and I have trouble with a lot of milk at once just because my body hasn't been used to more than just a little bit of milk at a time for 10-15 years, but I wouldn't say I'm lactose intolerant.

Also, 2% is where it's at. Skim milk is like dirty milk water and whole milk is like gargling fat.

Meanwhile, in Estonia...:

    • The FIFA World Cup is not US centric.
    • It’s amusing how Microsoft is pushing IT admins as if this was a major, game-changing update. In reality, it’s just an enablement package that bumps the build number, which is disappointing compared to the more substantial 22H2 and 24H2 releases. Technically, 25H2, 26H1, and the upcoming 26H2 are essentially the same, differing only in support schedules. They could have included the Windows K2 improvements here, but chose not to. The era of Windows being in the backburner continues, and this 26H2 release feels like an afterthought. Shame, Nadella, shame.
    • Microsoft, totally not confusing /s 25H2 - Current for non-Arm based Windows 26H1 - Current for Arm based Windows 26H2 - Only for non Arm Windows
    • After I installed those, my older but capable Win 11 laptop (16GB RAM) reported it as 26H2 26300.8697. Then I installed it on my big laptop (128GB RAM! Hehe sorry), it reported it as 25H2 26220.8690. Ugh. Do I have to switch Insiders channels from Release to Beta?
