I Need Some Help Choosing a graphics card

hi, im assembling a pc of my own for gaming and other stuff..... and i cant figure out which graphics card to go with, my budget is $200-$300 dollars, dont want to spend too much, one other question is the ati radeon 9600 XT or 9700 Pro better, ??

The ATI Raedon 9700 Pro is fastest... by my knowledge :D

Im not much of a hardware buff, but i think the 9800 Pro is around $299 (or is it 399?) and is pretty kickass.

its 300 at best buy and frys, but between those two i belive the 9700 pro is faster than the 9600 XT, the 9600 pro would be as good as the xt, just bump the core and mem up a little and you have yourself an xt
