Horizontal Flickering Lines

I have an Acer Revo 70 and horizontal flickering lines have started to happen, it's not all the time.

I have tried the latest graphics driver, but I already had the latest, so I uninstalled/reinstalled but not made any difference

I have tried two different monitors but the problem still exists, is it the on board graphics card?

I haven't changed the VGA lead (the only other thing I can change) but I very much doubt it's that

BTW, it's still in warranty, but wanted to see if there's anything I do can first.

If it's not all the time, is there some pattern to when it does happen?

Boot from a live linux distro and see if you can rule out it being a software issue, if it still happens in linux it sounds like a hardware problem, maybe GPU

It seems to be when I first turn on the monitor then start using it, but after a while I may forget about it, then it happens again, most noticable on a white background.

Any recommendations for a live linux distro? Never used linux in my life so wouldnt know where to look

Just download the 32bit version then either burn to DVD or create a bootable flash drive and boot from that
